Thank you for teaching your children about Memorial Day and the significance of the coins on the tombstones. And for letting them participate! Awesome. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 my husband was in the Army. He came home safe. But we talked about burial plans at some point (he was 25 years older than me) during our marriage. He wanted to be buried at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. So, in October of 2020, he was buried there. Last year, my first Memorial Day there, was breathtaking. All the flags. Then, in December, oh my! The wreaths were beautiful. Wreaths Across America. I learned about the coins on my second visit to the Cemetery. My friends and my great nephews and great nieces have placed coins on my husband's grave. . . As I cried.

Another good video. I remember about y’all doing this last year at the gravesites which I think is a beautiful way to teach your children. I just learned that spouses and dependents of veterans may also be buried in Texas Military Cemeteries. The girl whose gravesite you visited was the daughter of a veteran. May her family feel God's comfort and may she dance in Heaven forever. I think it's great how you are teaching your children to respect our fallen.
