I can't remember whether it was in this or the previous episode (I think it might've been the previous one), but someone asked you about the weirdest "handling by Lotus" projects and I immediately remembered the Bighorn. I saw one of those at the Vladivostok airport in 2020, and my thoughts were pretty much the same as Matt's (they couldn't have made it handle like an Elise, right?). Porsche as an engineering firm also had some strange collabs. You probably didn't know that they had a hand in the development of the Soviet Lada Samara in the 1980's (if my memory serves me - most of their input served to make those cars handle better). There you go.

Topaz E46 M3’s are notorious for clear coat failure. I’ve seen it on some other colors but mostly on the Topaz for some reason.

I am native to San diego and Palomar mountain is very well known and honestly is getting a little too congested these days. I prefer 94/campo rd along the border, sunrise highway through mount laguna and even the road through lake Cuyamaca(both of the last two can take you into Julian). Also Banner grade from Julian heading east(downhill) is nice and Montezuma rd into Borrego springs. Can’t forget route 79 from santa ysabel all the way up into Temecula is very nice with smooth roads. Those are just a few that are off the top of my head. I can include more but won’t(my favorite is rt 74 from hemet into mountain center). Love the backroads of San Diego. Been driving them since I’ve owned an 07 s2000, then an 09 c6 z06 and currently a 2019 grand sport w/ z07 package. As you can see, I like cars that shine in the turns. Have a great day, fellas.

YES have Hanna review the I5N and post it at length!! I want my wife to also consider this, as her Macan GTS (which she loves) she is not loving the upkeep costs…. And may consider something new and the I5N seems similar In enough was to be something I think she would enjoy. But we don’t get the luxury of a week long test drive… my wife would take her opinion better than mine and yours.

For the Aston Martin question... from someone who has never followed the brand closely, it took me a while to realize the DB numbers were generations, not a range of models. For a while I thought it was like Mazda 2,3,6 etc. So looking at the DB 7,8,9 etc I was wondering what was the difference. "Here is the new DB12".... "WTF, another one!?!?! It looks just like the others! Is it just more powerful and high-end?". It might have been the same thing for that guy.

It’s not about getting others sick with the mask, it’s the fact that Matt couldn’t have just stayed home and done it over Zoom.
