On the topic of gender oppression and unequal job opportunities: You speak about physical, hard labor jobs. But it is also important to note that these implicit biases and power structures take place in EVERY masculine-dominated workspace, which are always the high paying jobs. Women are framed as less competent and less qualified. They also overall receive less social support and access to opportunities to compete in this fields. This includes various occupations do not require manual labor, including physicians, lawyers, and executives. I think this is an important point to make so we don’t reduce this implicit bias and job inequality to essentialism. Edit: Also, men are still preferred for lower-status positions. They are still viewed as more competent in these roles. There is plenty of research on this.

About the UK example. It’s blurred lines I think, the reason being is because while tabloids do talk about the royal women and how they dress, the public aren’t expected to be that way. We know Royal standards vs the average person dressing standards are different. There isn’t an expectation for the public to follow these rules, not legally or socially. The royals have actual dress codes to follow, and Meghan would knowingly break a lot of those rules. I really don’t think there’s much difference between the US and UK in terms of expectations on the average woman.

Partly true, yes, because of her MS. I am a Longtime KickingGeese fan and I also understand that she's ACTUALLY one of ALR's longest standing public fans turned hater and reaction channel (She was THE ambaby reactor for a long time). She only recently became an actual haydur considering her entire time in the haydur space, for many years she was a hopeful critic, and finally became disenchanted with any possibility of positive change for ALR. Otherwise, I would say that considering her entire history in GorlWorld and ALR's conduct online, her potential antagonism toward ALR is not completely uncalled for. When she was supportive of ALR, ALR spurned her advice and concern and summarily blocked her for being supportive, but the support she was offering didn't reinforcr the aforementioned's narrative. Despite this, She still was very hopeful for ALR's positive growth for years and Amber even mentioned her as one of her fave reactors, for being so "nice". Quite recently, especially with her new friendship with NarcAlert, and some of ALR's treatment toward her, the gloves have come off, but with KG's extended history in this space, she'll be safe from heavy criticism for a little while longer. (Sorry for the ramble)
