Welcome to Buckingham Palace, the official home of the King of England and his family. Buckingham Palace isn’t your average home; it’s a critical hub for the monarchy and a significant target in terms of national security.

@@lizafan200 Scotland, Ireland and Wales are the first people on the island Scotland to the north Irish to the north east and Welsh to the north west, then there was no can, but there was one queen, who is not mentioned in history, and her name is Princess Linda, who ruled for decades, but she is not in your history, and by that she placed Scotland to the north Irish to the north east in the Welsh to the north west and that is where your people have always been still, Charles is not your king.

Post codes in the UK are much smaller areas typically one small street or one side of longer street. I would expect Buckingham Palace to have several post codes. A businesses typically have there own. I worked for a company who paid for several, it meant our post arrived already sorted. So for example product orders, payments and invoices for payment each had separate post codes and the mornings post delivery could be quickly directed to the right departments for action. We received a significant amount of mail, and if I remember correctly we had more than 30 postcodes, and so 30 separate batches of post arriving, fully utilising the sorting capabilities of the Post Office sorting machines.

@@garfieldwilliams74 In actual fact, before it was expanded to what we now recognise today as Buckingham Palace, before it was purchased by the monarchy, it was previously called Buckingham House

@garfieldwilliams74 If you were to do a tour of the state apartments, as I did last week, you too will establish that the monarchy bought Buckingham House from its previous owner and subsequently expanded it to the palace we know today. Hence the difference in the colour of the stone on the front to the rest of the inner quadrangle. It would be sensible to know your facts before writing incorrect ones in these comments.

@@garfieldwilliams74 From Wikipedia: "Originally known as Buckingham House, the building at the core of today's palace was a large townhouse built for the Duke of Buckingham in 1703 on a site that had been in private ownership for at least 150 years. It was acquired by George III in 1761 as a private residence for Queen Charlotte and became known as The Queen's House. During the 19th century it was enlarged by architects John Nash and Edward Blore, who constructed three wings around a central courtyard. Buckingham Palace became the London residence of the British monarch on the accession of Queen Victoria in 1837."
