2:24 I wondered why manglers basically stopped spawning. I was really enjoying grinding full gold or opal camos in directed within only one game each. Sure it took anywhere from 1 hour to 2 and a half depending on the gun but it was nice to be able to just get it done. This is such a terrible change as soon as I get dork matter (if at this point because I detest normal treyarch zombies) idk man. Glad I wasn’t going crazy but this is a mistake that needs to be reverted asap.

@ someone told me 1-2 is guaranteed on round 15 every round. It’s slow but I’ve found they spawn (depending on quest step) every round on 12. @Treyarch I’m not playing normal over directed… revert this change. It’s a dumb one.

@ round 12 will be slow too. The change is not to the spawns I think but the time in between each round. And the longer you go the longer it takes. I think pausing the game during late directed rounds also breaks the spawns.

I’d rather do standard co-op on liberty falls. You get the camos wayyy faster also at 25+ you can get 2-5 mangler kills a round… best for opal grind. I started with directed and trust me that shit takes wayyyy longer. It’s easier yah. But it’s boring af

@@erickdundy8580 once you get to rnd 10 bucketheads start spawning and you can get the lion sword, pick it up and then put it back on the statue. now you have 4 guaranteed parasite spawns every round for the rest of the game. at rnd 13 parasites have the chance to infect normal zombies which transforms them to doppleghasts, so if you just train the zombies around spawn or something like that you can get 4 guaranteed doppleghasts every round + the doppleghasts that spawn that round as well. now if you want 8 guaranteed parasites per round, do everything i said before but when the round changes and the 4 parasites spawn just save/quit and rejoin. now you have 8 parasites per round where you can get up to 12-13 doppleghasts per round

@erickdundy8580 on round 10 get the lion sword and put it back down on the mantle and kill the glowing parasites they will have about 6 parasites that spawn in every round and play through the rounds till 13 then train zombies till parasites turn into doppleghast you can easily get 5-8 guns opal with 1 game

this one is really good, but i came up with an even more efficient method to a degree, at least for doing both opal and gold at the same time to cut down your time as much as possible. i did terminus directed until the round 12 cap (guaranteed mangler every round) and the orb step. when you get to the 3rd island for the last orb, don't charge it. the mangler spawns right in the barrier and then zombies will spawn, and then when it's done, activate the orb and it'll be instant and infinite zombies, parasites & vermin. then after about 30 seconds of killing them, swim out a bit till it resets and you get the peck dialogue, swim back to the island (takes roughly 5 seconds) pick up the EE piece, then the regular round starts and the mangler will spawn again. and then rinse and repeat. you know the round is over because the orb spawns as soon as it's done. repeating the orb step inbetween rounds compensates for the longer downtime post patch, and you get every type of enemy needed for challenges. roughly 60-65 crits & 2 manglers every minute and a half, INFINITELY. it's insane

it's not AS fast as this method for gold or even as the oil trap, but it's the most efficient and relatively quick and you waste absolutely no time. you do everything at the same time. it cuts down time drastically in the long run. and then when you do nebula, just get to the LTG step in LF, and you get an elite every minute. but my method i feel is the most efficient after the patch especially, for everything UNTIL nebula

The camo grind is so stupidly easy in citadel… did 3 opal and 3 gold (from scratch) in one 65 round game hehe. Infinite zombies with the brooche, oil trap with molotovs and sam trials… the gun you have out counts towards your critical kills and dopps counts for opal… 40ish round + like 4+ dopps start spawning so if you have one weapon for criticals and another for dopps u just switch when u hear dopps hahaha its too easy

Yes I used that strategy last night to get to Round 100 and get 5 weapons to Purple Tiger. Before that I used to do directed mode on Liberty Falls, but I genuinely enjoyed the oil trap method more. Plus it was faster and I got a dark ops calling card for round 100. Good luck with whatever strategy you choose to go with 💯👍.

@@ZephiroXGD That’s strange, I just did it again today for Sniper Rifles. Make sure as soon as you turn the trap on you throw a Molotov. It’s the Molotov trap kills that count as critical kills for me. I have tested this on both oil traps.
