Nonno is a modern Michelangelo! So much talent! And Nonna could give cooking lessons to the most famous chefs! You and your family are incredibly blessed in so many ways. Treasure each moment together! 💝🙏😊

I was raised in a Sicilian home and you would not believe how many rumors, superstitions, lessons, proverbs, etc dominated my childhood. My favorite was how my grandmother would cover me entirely in a blanket so no one could see when I was a newborn. She swore that my mother’s beauty caused jealousy in the neighborhood and someone could put the malocchio on me. ❤❤❤ I love these videos. Thank you so much for posting!

I think that superstition was common in the small villages of Italy 🇮🇹! My husband is born in such a village in the region of Basilicata and has spoken a lot about it too! No doubt a very colorful village life!

I can't believe these women are wearing their good clothes in the kitchen. Find it so hot to be in the kitchen and over an oven and sweat. We're a very light T-shirt, and it's usually Covered with food tomato sauce and whatever else it is on the kitchen counter. Then I just take it off after. And put a clean t shirt on. However, I guess if you're making a video, you don't wanna wear a dirty old t shirt

My family wasn’t Italian …. They were French Canadian. My grandfather was born and raised outside of Quebec City and we were raised spending a lot of time togeher… cooking and eating especially after mass on Sunday morning. They remind me so much of my family… 💕 My grandmother also had a lot of superstition and things that we had to do… I miss my parents and grandparents a lot when I watch these videos 💕💕

I live in the PNW and muscles are a staples here. You dont have to smak an open muscle so hard with an object. If you crack or break the shell, it's useless you cant eat it. Just rub the sides it will close rubbing the sides willl wake it up. Or smak away and hopefully you don't break to many.
