I know dome people hate cedh and the price point kills it from mainstream play but god damn are games so interesting when every deck is so tuned to just try to win. Its like the F1 racing of magic where any small decision can heavily impact the outcome of the game. Love the content, wish there was a game 2

Not the clearest explanation of the wincon. For anyone like me who was wondering, after flashing in Evelyn it will become part of the dragon loop and will be flickered along the other permanents, each time triggering her etb, and that's how you empty your opponents' decks. Also, the loop has to be ended at some point by targeting a different creature from the dragon (can be from any graveyard).

Stupid question but do the new squire boxes fit in the dungeon thing? I have many game genic boxes and was just making sure these are compatible with that before I buy them.

The squire plus will fit 4 in a Dungeon 550+, but the sidekick pro doesn't fit. Check out our review videos and you can see the various configurations!

One minor correction: Jim says you can make an opponent draw with baleful mastery as a cost of playing the card, and that's not quite correct. The draw happens on the spell's resolution.

Could someone explain why Jerry’s combo works? Worldgorger Dragon reads: “return the exiled cards to the battlefield “ Animate Dead reads: “When [it] enters the battlefield, it loses ‘enchant creature in a graveyard’ -“ So shouldn’t Animate Dead just fizzle out since it wasn’t cast targeting a creature in the graveyard? I probably understand something wrong!

When an aura enters the battlefield without being cast, its controllers CHOOSES an appropriate target according to its "Enchant X" line. This does not target, though.

​@@Korakowlosing the ability is on an etb trigger so it has the ability to enchant worldgorger before losing the ability. checking if an aura is still on a valid target is a state based action, which isnt checked until after resolution. Once animate dead is finished with resolving its etb trigger, worldgorger is still a legal target since it was a creature put onto the battlefield with animate dead

It is a term I just made up to describe decks that aren't widely perceived as cEDH decks. There is no definitive line, but some people throw a fit when I describe off-meta decks as cEDH decks.

Angry people are always gonna lash out, but for each of them there might be way more content with the bans, and personally I am in full support both of the ban itself AND of the way it was handled. Serious question: if burrito splendito feeds the spikes before each game, have yall started getting tired of the food since you upload multiple videos most weeks? Or do yall just fill 3-4 games in one day and they feed you that one day once a week? Or is the food actually just that good that you can’t even get sick of it? These are the things i consider when planning to travel to Manitoba.
