Good game, cool decks. Assassins look like fun! It is a tiny letdown to see a casual pod lose to infinite Cyclonic Rifts, but assembling the combo pieces under combat pressure was still well played.

Glad to see Brenard gameplay! My group already knows to murder him on site. Bought gingerbread man charms to put on the token copies he makes :) My last game with him I had double triggers of Spellseeker and Eternal Witness to keep my Path of Exile and Swords to Plowshares in hand. Won with a pile of trampling indestructible 6/6 golems.

I have the same sleeves as Crim, I use them for my Snowdrop Vorthos deck! I'm now honestly curious if I'll end up with a Zombie deck and an annual viewing when Influenza is finally out. Also, people, stuff like this is why it's actually okay to play Omen of Fire, Boil, and Boiling Seas. Also Monsoon, maybe Dwarven Miner and Dwarven Blastminer to deal with his non-Basics. These are feel good cards that make for fun games people!

Hamza is a personal favorite of mine for Brawl on Arena. I'm sad we didn't get to see the creature storm of which I know him very, very capable. I think I've cast 10-11 creatures in one turn before. It's always fun to hit a chain and then drop Grand Cenobite for 2.

I’ve watched SO MANY 6 CMC Counters-Commander included content games, many of which were Hamza, and I’ve come to the conclusion that +1/+1 counters are cursed during content-games. Either the counters-player ends up subjected to a silver bullet card that sticks for half the game or more (Like that Segovian Assassin), they suffer from mana screw/flood, or never, *EVER* find Interaction during a clutch portion of the game. I can literally name all 4 games I’ve seen a +1/+1 counters play win during a content game, and I search for games with +1/+1 counters Commanders in them relentlessly. Brian Kibler won with Mowu on Commander at Home. Saw a guest who name I can’t remember win with a counters-focused Lathiel on Tolarian Academy, though admittedly the T1 Serra Ascendent did *a lot* of the heavy lifting to get them to that Test of Endurance win. PowerTool won w/ a counters-focused Kenrith, the Returned King deck in an absolute nail biter where putting a +1/+1 counter on a Dusk Legion Duelist as JLK went to combat found him a Ram Through on the draw that he used his 9/9 Kodama of the West Tree to target one of JLK’s Bitterblossom 1/1 Faeries, doing exact lethal on JLK, despite a Swan Song from JLK that got no-sold by a Veil of Summer. And NerdGirl just had a complete blowout with the Gruul Hana & Alina, Partners deck that was honestly way stronger than two of the other decks, while the only theoretically peer opponent got flooded. I have *never* seen Hamza or Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider win a game online. Not even once. And now poor Byrke, Long Ear of the Law has joined the list of 6 CMC +1/+1 Counters Punching Bags. :( It’s kinda sad, really. Growing increasingly more convinced the mechanic has fallen too far behind in terms of being able to develop a board fast enough to be relevant at high power tables.

A prime example of why Cyclonic Rift should have had the same additional clause as Teferi's Protection that exiles itself. All those overload cards should. One-sided but you can recur it so easily? Lame and overdone.
