I love Wheeler's deck, I have a Jared deck that is also a stuffy doll deck. Thing of note, blazing sunsteel on a brash taunter is actually infinite, because you can use the trigger from the equipment to repeatedly shoot the taunter and then use taunter to punch your opponents to death. Nice game!

As an aside: notably, auras your opponents control do not make creatures you control modified. However, any attached equipment will modify a creature, regardless of the controller.

Brash Taunter and Sunsteel is actually an infinite combo. Sunsteel damage can target the creature holding the Sunsteel, retriggering Sunsteel and BT, meaning you can machine-gun down each opponent.

Question: Am I misreading or is blazing sunsteel + brash taunter + any damage to the taunter = instant death loop to everyone? Because you can redirect the sunsteel's damage back to the taunter to re-trigger both abilities and use the taunters trigger to damage opponents each time you do the loop. Totally understand if they didn't want to play it that way.

38:46 correct me if I’m wrong, Wheeler can just win here, by any damage to Brash Taunter. He needed to save the Blazing Sunsteel before the fight trigger, but when Brash Taunter takes damage, the Sunsteel can just target Brash Taunter, and instantly win the game. Maybe he didn’t want to combo out like that, but the extra steps to shoot Shivam and use the Mogg/Stuffy Doll was just unnecessary flash

A copy of a permanent spell resolving does not "create" a token for the purposes of Worldwalker Helm. The copy of a permanent spell becomes a token when it resolves. Of note, any sort of token doubling or increasing effect does not work with copying permanents.

the copied mightstone and weekstone wouldn't technically make a map tokem because a copy of a spell resolving isn't a token being created, it just resolves as a token

I’m not sure if Wheeler realised he had an infinite combo or not. Blazing Sunsteeo plus Brash taunted is infinite. You just have the sun steel hit the taunter, trigger both, taunter hits face sunsteel hits taunter, repeat. There’s a good chance he saw it and just didn’t want to go for it for fun value, but it’s also possible he didn’t see it

Minsc and boo are great but the only thing I don't like it can be interacted with before you get to activate because it's etb effect of putting boo into play uses the stack. Been so many times I would play it and then it be removed as boo comes into play

@@starmanda88 No, it's right. You can't activate a loyalty ability if there's a spell or ability on the stack, and Minsc & Boo have an enter the battlefield trigger that creates the token. That trigger uses the stack and can be responded to, so players can remove Minsc & Boo before the token is created (and before they can activate one of its loyalty abilities).

I think Bill was mistaken about the order of damage replacements. I believe the player being affected chooses the order so they can choose to double first then apply the one.

Bill I’m sorry to say but actually the damage modifiers/replacement effects are chosen by the affected player. They stack the modifiers in an order of their choosing and not the owner of the permanents. I learned this the hard way when I played Ojer Axonil with multiple replacement effects.
