Whatever you think of Anthony Bourdain you cannot - with any believability - deny the man's talent. So whether we lost the greatest storyteller of our time or a good friend we loved to have a few beers with while he regaled us of his many adventures, we know we lost something. It's what we can't put our finger on. It's on the tip of our tongue. What we do know is that it was something special, and that once upon a time, we never had it so good. We love you and miss you, Tony. Oh, so much.

i'm sad too. i've been crying a lot since friday. it just so hard to accept that someone like him will do such kind of act. it hurts me to know that i won't be able to see new versions of Parts Unknown. :-(

I'm watching the 2nd episode right now on TV where he went there and I noticed some synchronicities with this episode and his passing like when the episode starts, in the boat as they arrive, he says "10 years ago I lost a love and here I am again.." Then there's a scene where he talks about a tattoo he got there on his shoulder of a snake eating its' tail and he says it symbolizes life and death. There are other interesting moments too. Him visiting there seems to have been a special, spiritual moment for him. Anyone else notice these things? Much love! xoxo

Loved the show. He talked to everyday hard working people. The show is legend as the guests and Anthony Bourdain.

I think what missing in his life is family. He had once but he and his wife decided to part ways. Although they are in good terms and co parenting their daughter but is not the same because there no body to call love and share his passion and experience with. And even worst when he came back from long trip he has no one to come back to besides the visitation from his daughter. And that about it. Then he met his new girlfriend who he thought he was the one but then she was photographed with another guy. So that was it. He felt unwanted, not worthy so he did the unthinkable thing. That the saddest part. R.I. P sir. You will be missed and remembered forever.

I still remember one evening I finished work very late at night so I checked in this one hotel. By the midnight, I was tuning on TV & you know hotel always have random cooking/traveling channels out of nowhere & it was Parts Unknown. I can recall the episode that night is related to funeral & cremation in Bali, Indonesia. Anthony asked the show guest something like "how would you like your death would be?" ,I cannot remember the guest answer but when he being asked back the same question, he simply replied I want to be "Found dead". It was scary how few days after that, Google News are reporting Anthony Bourdain is found dead in Paris.
