Girl, I had to learn about my natural hair from scratch. Nobody in my family is natural, I live in Sweden and I was 13 at he time. The amount of damage I have suffered is painful honestly. But now I'm almost 17 and after years of begging my parents for money to buy products, years at discovering my hair pattern and what works for it (before the age of 13 I had never seen my natural hair) I can finally say that I now know what works for my hair. Now I pray for growth and length 🙏

Been natural since about 11 and I'm turning 17(wow its been awhile) but u want to go full natural so I need to begin the product binge and experimentation. Pray for us.

Olive oil as a pre-poo is the truth! I also went back to using Blue Magic too. I don’t care what anyone says. It's great for sealing in that moisture, and it works for me. Plus you only have to use the smallest amount, so it lasts for a really long time.

Your video are always entertaining! I don't know if this is helpful at all but a I also went through a time when my hair was rejecting my normal products. I would switch them up only for the new products to stop working soon after. I figured out that my hair woes was because of hard water so I started incorporating a chelating shampoo into my regimen. Surprisingly it didn't dry out my hair and my products started working for my hair again. I've heard that products leave residue behind that can build up over time so clarifying or chelating can help to reset our hair.

Love your vids! We have to unlearn that Shrinkage is bad. Shrinkage is a sign of healthy kinky/coily hair. We also have to let go of wanting long hair as a sign of healthy hair. Kinky/coily hair when it is healthy and growning you will see VOLUME not length. Your hair will look fuller which may not seem long at first glance. Remember to give your real natural self a chance.
