The problem with What Ifs like this is that pretty much any change, no matter how minor, prior to Anakin's fall would likely lead to his fall being avoided. Palpatine's plan wasn't nearly so good as he thought.

I could definitely see this happening but I could also see anakin going crazy while padme is alive and just killing all the clones knowing that if he gives up his sabre sidious would just kill her anyway or maybe using force pull her the moment he runs into the room or the most likely one anakin pulling padme with him as he’s flung off the building and that way he would slow his fall much sooner

How about "What if Padmé couldn't have children" or never had children. Something small like that could've affected quite a bit. Palpatine would've had to find another way to trick Anakin, but his focus on saving his wife and the idea of becoming a father wouldnt have distracted him. I've also been thinking about a story where Anakin goes on to become the Luke Skywalker of the Original trilogy. So What if Anakin destroyed the Death Star with Han, Chewbacca and Obi-Wan

I actually like this 'what-if' scenario, because while Anakin DID utilize the Dark Side via his rage and anger and hatred and desire for revenge, Anakin actually utilized it in service to the Light Side as well as the Jedi Order and the Republic. And so even though Anakin dies in this 'what-if', he still fulfills the 'Prophecy of the Chosen One' by destroying the Sith and bringing balance. Another thing I like is how instead of going with the tired old cliche of 'NOTHING bad happened to the hero and EVERYONE lives Happily Ever After', this 'what-if' scenario is actually more realistic. By that I mean in real life bad things actually DO happen to the 'good guys', and not everyone gets to live 'Happily Ever After'. Just my own personal opinion anyway.

Great story and the ending was pure Anakin. What if Anakin killed both Palpatine and Windu, both men were traitors to the republic in his eyes. The Jedi only knew Palpatine was a Sith, not that he was the Sith lord behind everything and Windu had constantly pushed Anakin down and treated him like he was nothing. What would Anakin do next, take control of the republic or would he place his wife, the one person in the senate he trusts absolutely to set right what was broken.
