Wow, a slow burn Valentine's Special indeed. This felt so sugary sweet to me, especially with the kalikori gift and the meaning it would hold by the end of the story. I felt the same, on how Obi-Wan and Aayla wouldn't commit right away until the dominos keep falling. I'm aging myself when I say this but, it defines how sometimes people don't know what they want when it comes to love. But boy is it worth it when they reach that point. After all, like you said, that's the beauty of a slow burn, no need to rush it. 😁💕 Besides that, around the end at 28:31 got me to smile after hearing the loving "post war" epilogue, relationships, and dynamics for the former Jedi families at the end. These 34 minutes of a fine what-if was worth the listen. 😌🎧

Kind of reminds me of how my wife and I wound up with each other. 11 years as friends, my first wife and I watching her daughter from 3 monthz old, and her just being there when I needed a friend. We can't place when things chabged, only that it did. The father ran, rather than standing up to her family. I stood by them. Faced them, and proved my worth, and that I have the spine he lacked. 23 together. Almost 18 of that married. Had to wait 3 uesrs for my divorce. Ended up marrying my best friend. We send my ex a thank you card every October. If she hadn't left, we never would have ended up a family. So we mean no ill will towards her. Sometimes you have to leave your place of comfort to grow as a person. This story shows that. Love it, Kid. Aeedome story, as I've cone to expect, each time I click on one.

Just an idea to pitch to you.Remember the episode (Season 4 Episode 4: Shadow Warrior) where Count Dooku held Anakin Skywalker captive to have a way to get General Grievous out of Republic hands to continue the war. There was the scene where Count Dooku said to Skywalker, "The Sith control everything. You just don't know it." My idea to pitch to you to take whatever direction you want. "What if Skywalker convinced Dooku to tell him everything during his captivity". Basically, Anakin holds a more open mind at this point, wondering what Dooku meant when he said "The war started here (on Naboo) years ago" and "The Sith control everything, you just don't know it." Perhaps this helps turn Anakin to the Dark, or Dooku back to the light. Honestly, I could see it going either way, but I'd like to hear your perspective on how that could play out in your great story telling.
