45699 Thunders through Oxenholme with the Pendle Dalesman 17/2/16.

LMS 45699 Galatea was in charge of West Coast's railtour The Pendle Dalesman that would start from Coventry but due to the Settle & Carlisle line being closed North of Appleby due to a landslip the tour would go over Shap and back around the Cumbrian Coast with 45699 coming on at Carnforth for the 1 in 75 climb up Shap bank . The Jubilee is seen thundering through Oxenholme and at Shap Wells in less than ideal conditions . We then see 45699 at Wigton and finally Bootle ( had planned St Bees but got stuck in a massive queue behind a tractor )after the water stop at Sellafield .Apologies for the shake at the end as 45699 shook the whole platform !
The bad news filtered through to me that West Coast Railway company has been banned again from Midnight tonight .
