In one of Sidious’s books he states that if he could have a second chance of turning Anakin to the Dark then he would, but make sure he had a tighter leash around his apprentice. To make sure that he’s absolutely subservient to his rule and to be a better apprentice than he first taught. Sith that become Anti-Sith are definitely beings that would make the different Orders panic because they aren’t fighting Jedi that’re more reserved and controlling of their emotions. They’re fighting people who’re just as ruthless or even more out of control than themselves just like Darth Wredd or The Ronin.

Grey Jedi is fanon. Jedi and Sith philosophy can't work with Grey Philosophy. Sith Ronin and Jedi Shadow's duties include Killing Sith

The Ronin, and Kyle Katarn need to be put into canon while he wasn't mentioned on this list his view on the light and dark side of the force is just as nuanced, and could be a fun exploration in canon lore as it's still rare to find characters that go staunchly to one side of the force, but at the same time encourage the exploration of both sides.

@@ToveriJuri That he did, but what I was saying is the new canon needs more nuanced looks at both the light and dark side, so far there's only been a handful of truly unique perspectives on the force as a whole in canon, so requesting/wishing for The Ronin a Sith who protected a town from a rival and acted with a sense of bushido while using the dark side, is just as nuanced as Kyle Katarn's own perspective of no force ability being inherently good nor evil.

The concept of a Sith Ronin makes me want to see a Star Wars story that takes place a few centuries before the rise of Darth Bane and the Rule of Two. In this story, the main character would be a young Jedi who attained knighthood a few months ago. Then he and his former master are attacked by the Sith on their battle cruiser. The master is killed before his eyes and the Sith who killed his master forcibly takes him as his apprentice. After three years of hellish training, the main character hates the Jedi for abandoning him and the Sith for making his life a wretched existence. Eventually, he kills his Sith master and goes rogue, starting his own campaign against the Sith. Throughout his campaign, he recruits his own team full of people who hate the Sith as much as he does, making them a dark version of the Ghost crew from Rebels. Not only do they hunt down and kill individual Sith, but they leak information to the Jedi and the Republic to undermine the Sith's operations from within. However, the main character and his team are not friends of either the Jedi or the Republic. Their interests in taking down the Sith align. I hope we get a story like this in a future Star Wars story because I think it would be quite interesting to follow. What do you think?

Sounds cool, kind of like a star wars version of the punisher. Perhaps have the group he or she runs be similar to the main characters from dark matter, where they all have different agendas, morals, and values from each other whose interests just happen to align somewhat to throw in an interesting element of disfunction (some of them barely kept from killing each other).

@@jayburn00 That truly does sound like a complex group. Just what I was thinking. They would each have their own reason to hate the Sith, which would occasionally cause friction with the main character who used to be a Sith. I bet they would routinely attack the main character like when Inspector Clouseau is attacked by Cato in the Pink Panther. While the group is hunting down individual Sith and hindering the Sith's plans for galactic conquest, the Sith would dispatch a master and apprentice team to hunt down the group.

Not exactly the same but sounds like the book star wars visions : Ronin. He was the original Sith lord in this timeline and for reasons I won't spoil he pretty much kills 90% of the Sith and goes around hunting the rest. He also forms a group in the story to get rid of the sith and they don't trust the JEDI slash Republic

Valkorian was just one of Tenebrae’s puppets. He literally derides him in Echoes of Oblivion for being “Distracted” by having a family. Scourge is a True Sith. During the same expansion he comments about the Emperor’s Hand, “Being a Sith is about breaking one’s chains. These fools chained themselves to the whims of a madman.” Scourge is probably the most Sith person out of anyone you listed.

I wish that he was in some way canon, a version in the past, because although he is strong he isnt as insane as other people like starkiller. This makes it easier to fit into canon, although it is unlikely.

I don’t know if I’d classify Malgus as an “Anti-Sith.” By your definition, I’d classify his actions as similar to Bane’s. He didn’t like the direction that the ruling Sith Order was going in, so he rebelled, not bc he saw being Sith as inherently wrong, but bc he thought the people in charge weren’t being Sith-y enough. Sure, he preached racial tolerance, but not bc it is morally right but bc being intolerant is tactically illogical and makes you weaker. He never stopped being Sith or even slightly turned away from the Dark Side. He didn’t want to destroy the Sith, he wanted to rebuild them in his image, just like Bane.

Actually that does make sense the red kyber crystal theory. Yoda exiled himself to Dagobah and defeated Joruus C’Boath who was immersed in the dark side. It was confirmed that the only reason Vader and Palpatine never thought to look for him there was because of the planet’s dark side aura and Yoda severing his force connection

The ronin is a mute example. It's neither official canon nor belonging to the eu canon. It's more a sw themed, different story if u will or a what if kinda thing. U show maul prominently while explaining the concept n that's also a bad choice. He was only trying to get power himself n used sith teachings to indoctrinate n train his brother as well as ezra. His desire to oppose sidious was only for revenge n that 4 not being accepted back. He was hurt by his brothers death but only after the fact n when it fitted into the hate on sidious. Earlier he was instantly willing to ask 4 being taken back by sidious, knowing that he would sign his bro's deathsentence if he succeeds cuz he was trained to follow the rule of two, which he does without question n tought to savas n ezra too despite that there was never a hint that he got to learn the rules origin. w. With dooku being at his spot n loyally helping against maul he's an enemy too n that makes it technicly true that maul wanted to kill the sith. He still wasn't "anti" at all. He would end all sith that there're thx to the rule of 2, by default when he settles his personal scores. He also would've done so to replace these sith, making him nothing different to the ancient sith's infighting murders. Malgus is just as wrong to b concidered. He as well was a political dicident who himself would have caused an even bigger danger cause he wasn't anti the sith ideology but rather he was desirering more of it in terms of how it's informed the empires actions. His sole reason for wanting more openess towards other races, was to avoid wasting potential ressources. He was an absolute hardliner, an ideologicle extremist who opposed "the sith" as in the gouvernment he had to obey not the ideology n whoever follows it. Going by ur explained concept, i'm almost certain that there is no such thing that mattered. Not at least, from the outside viewed n as a real effort against their teachings. 4 that it would have to b a follower of a changed new - or unrelated dark side ideology that at least genuinly trys to b seen seperate from sith teaching. Also in a way that's done cuz it recognized the other way to be fundanentally wrong. "not good enough" is not good enough. That makes it so hard. All darksiders who were seriously opposing sith were doing so as reformed force users who either renounced it completely our broke with both orders more or less to follow their own "grey" path. The one thing true about sith ideology is that it is superior among dark side sekts cuz they were allways extremists n devoted to maximize their ability to channel the force "by force" n bend it to their will. It is the order devoted to the dark side in the purest form n not acting in that manner as a sideeffect of other believes. There is no pure dark side alligned ideology that claims to b different AND superior to the sith cuz they would have to proof it by actions. Not attacking the sith would mean proving the own beliefs to b lies. If genuine yet false it's obvious why there's no such case n after failing, no one would keep that ideology n likely become sith too. It seems more u made up this concept cuz u needed a topic to create more sw junkfood.

I wish Lucasfilm would roll hard into doing some amazing movies or series about the origins of the Sith order Game of Thrones style. Have a long series starting with when the dark Jedi land on old Korriban take over the planet learn there dark side powers then over 5 seasons show them rise build an army/fleet and attack the old republic. While I love more focus on the Ronin, I do have to say that your assertion is inaccurate to a degree. The Kyber Crystal wasn’t giving off Dark Side energies, red kyber crystals symbolize self-determination and an allegiance to an individual wielder rather than a lineage in the Ronin’s world. Now I don’t doubt the crystal would shield the village from another Siths attention.. but not because of a connection to the Dark Side- there is no Dark Side. There is the White Flare and Black Current.

I will never call anyone in star wars a ronin. Do that and you'll have to call others samurai or shogun etc. Nobody wants another can of worms poured on star wars, but apparently nobody is willing to read the labels either. Bad enough they're getting lazy with actual names. "Just rip-off mythology and arthurian legend, it's fine. No don't bother hiding it, they eat it up like dogs on vomit wether we chew it first or not." That's not to say that a ronin themed character is off the table, so long as that's not their sole personality or design trait. And I personally love the idea of a darkside hero. I just find using real world terms in Star Wars distasteful just because they're foreign words. Stop using real cultures in fiction all the time and try inventing cultures once in a while.

There is no such thing as an Anti-Sith or a Sith Ronin since Sith are selfish by nature and they act independently /only/ if they disagree with the current goals of The Sith Order. They do not hunt each other for sport or with any altruistic ulterior motives. If you want to go into fanfiction territory by making up Jedi and Sith ranks and omitting or twisting elements of the established lore in order to fit your view of Star Wars, you are disrespecting Canon and Legends alike.
