I'm always either a small or medium in jackets, so I ordered their racer-style bomber jacket from ASOS in both sizes and the arms on both were so tight I could barely move them. Does the quilted racer jacket fit the same?

Real leather keeps you dry because of its courseness. Theres practically no seeable difference its just one is more for Motorcycles and one is more casual.

You don't have to spend a lot, yes hides demand a premium , however.there are deals out there, I picked up a well worn and super tight nieman marcus (the Luxury purveyor has it's own in house high end brand and quality tends to be really really good), black leather jacket last fall for 19 dollars at a thrift shop, it was old but we'll taken care if and fit like a glove, it would have run me today probs in excess of 1000 new in a NM store today. I also found a new old atock with tags chocolate brown suede 3 button blazer for 6 dollars, all I had to do was reinforce one of.the front buttons. Some of the best deals are on outer wear in the used clothing racks, you'll need to earn the discount w time and effort but it's worth it to thrift and thrift regularly. If you don't have good thrift shops in your area it's worth it to drive to nearest major metro area and find some.deals where high end stuff occasionally makes it on the floor. If you are willing to pay a partial markup and do shop around some mark up way more than others, some good thrifters will sell finds on eBay, lots of great deals there too at substantially less than new. Used coach leather jackets Will probably provide a strong value prop, as will like I said nieman marcus own brand and similar for higher end stuff

95% of the leather jackets available in US are made in either India or Pakistan. They cost around $50 in the country of origin. If you buy leather jacket from Amazon sold by Indian or Pakistani sellers, they cost around $100-150 and the designs are way better.

Because after time, Leather will stretch (especially at elbows area, back shoulder and chest area), so if you are 42” chest, buy 40”leather jacket. If you buy 42” leather jacket, after 1 year, your jacket will become 44” chest ( unless you getting fat, it would be fine) :)

If where you buy your leather jackets can't tell you what animal and what the tanning and oiling process was your prolly not rocking a real leather jacket. You'd be surprised how many jackets out there are marketed as real leather but arnt (look smell and all). If your looking for quality look no further then schott NYC. They created the leather jacket. A good leather jackets gonna run you at least $700 so please just save up and buy the real thing.

A perfecto is for a younger man. His looks cheap to me and is poorly finished - note the creasing and the plastic look. Older people might try cafe racers, dominators or highwaymen. You cannot buy a decent leather jacket for under 1000 USD. Look for front quarter horsehide or chromexel, for example. Such jackets may cost three times as much but will last 30 or 40 years.
