She has insisted she WILL force her deal through the Commons eventually - claiming it's the only way to deliver Brexit.

Pfffttttt!!!!!..... that speech came across as insincere and overly theatrical. You can fall for the bluster and superficial charm of a backstabbing politician if you like. I prefer to have my feet firmly on the ground back here in the real world.

Yes. It is a very good speech. Some people are good orators, some aren't. Gove is an orator and a half. I don't like him though. However, I think Corbyn is totally inept. It's a case if being caught between a rock and a hard place for many of a similar mindset.

@@willatkinson9729 i have to say you're exactly correct most people like myself who got brought up being told you never vote tory have been turned Tory by Jeremy Corbyn, when i voted in this general election, not having that X in the local labour candidates box was harder than i thought i could hear my grandparents in my head telling me Labour, as id voted Labour 2010, 2015, 2017. But i voted to leave the EU also.

In fairness this was a debate on a 'Confidence Motion' so of course he had to support the PM! It was a choice between May or Corbyn so he had to dismantle Corbyn. And he did only mention her briefly on a particular point.

Im a natural labour voter, i could never vote tory but it really hits home hard how messed up things have become when a tory minister can stand up in the house of commons and i have to agree with every word he says. Jeremy Corbyn is a disgrace his brand of hard left politics would do untold damage to our country and his stance on national security should chill everybody to the bone

the problem is the majority of this country voted to leave yet the majority of our MP's are remainers and do not therefore represent the voters anymore ,MP's need to understand they work for us and many of them will feel that betrayal come election time and we wonder why we have an impasse in this country any government would do well to leave under WTO rules and talk to the EU as a third country and talk tarrifs

I agree the problem really lies with our electoral system specifically the voting system FPTP which is a completely unrepresentative system. For example swing seats usually about 40% of their constituents unrepresented and there was a case where a party I believe to be the green party won with only 30% of the votes in the constituency.

Robin GSNR hit the nail on the head! I have 100% confidence that almost 100% of the British public will support a no deal Brexit as we can then trade with the EU as a third world country under WTO rules. What we need is another referendum to prove this to the government and shut those loud mouth politicians up once and for all!
