This is a must buy!! It works as an IR loader, power soak, audio interface not to mention replaces just about every pedal known to man!! It even creates a pretty mean overdrive distortion metal tone from scratch! I really fell in love with mine using it with my Blackstar MKII 100! I can roll the volume up on the amp and attenuate the volume back down with the global settings for bedroom or APT practice. Killer gig ready, pro audio, piece of equipment!! Awesome looper feature as well!!

So am I right, that I can use up to 4 effects a song I am playing at the same time? Is it enough for playing song of the Chili peppers or Incubus? I want to cover these bands and especially Michael einziger uses so many effects, that I don’t know if the gigboard will be useable for me or if I should go with the pedalboard that has more switches on the board. Could you tell me your opinion please?

Hey everyone!I have a Mesa Boogie JP2C and want to buy an "all in one" option for effects and stuff and this Gigboard looks killer, but I don't want to lose integrity from my amp, does the sound of the amp gets affected by this if I use it only for effects? not being true bypass and all....

manuel carmona I have a 100 watt all tube amp if anything it has cleaned up the signal and really is an awesome addition to your already incredible sounding amp. It takes your current OD channel and makes it a master of what ever tone you want! Just be sure and run it through your FX loop and not in front of the amp. You can even run the Gigboard in the 4 cable method using the Gigboards FX loop as well! I love mine and bought mine through Zzsounds.com! If you have a credit card that is in good standings for just the first installment payment they’ll send you your Gigboard and you can make 6 payments to pay it off interest free!!! That site has enabled me to get some killer gear without having to come out of pocket that huge upfront cost!

Okay, on the strength of many vids saying how good the Gigboard is (and the demos are all very good) I bought one. Great clean sounds, but I am struggling with the crunch and lead sounds, all seem to have a gritty element to the sound - the opposite of what I expected. Gain is not maxed out and I have tried with Sony 7506 headphones, Shure 425 earbuds, a full range monitor cab, into the clean input of a fender hotrod deluxe and into the power amp in of the fender. All have the same harsh edge which I can't seem to get rid of. What am I doing wrong?

Also, the is a huge difference between the sound in the headphones and amp sounds. Headphone sounds are much brighter.

Not sure...it doesn't seem to be like that to me...maybe have a play with the global eq...you might be able to dial out some of that harshness?!?

@@TSFAHTPS Got it sorted, you need to watch the in and out settings. Tweek those down a bit and all is (very) good.

I love the Gigboard but some of the amps are bass heavy. I adjusted the global EQ to 75 hz from 120 hz and cut the gain and raised the Q so it affects the bass and not as the t0nes close to that range. If I am still not getting what I want I add an EQ into the effects chain.

I dunno for some reason there’s this gritty sound that sounds like it’s clipping that everybody posts. Helix sounds a lot better. Also why is everybody posting gain sounds? Prove me wrong? Any samples?

In my experience of drive sounds in modellers they are usually preset with the drive output at 100 and level at 100 My experience of using I usually bring the overall drive effect level output down dramatically to around 30 sometimes even less and usually bring gain down below 50 but I am quite a clean player not really heavy, I have found reducing these effect parameters I get a much nicer, realistic, overall, warm drive tone and no more harshness or processed unnatural drive.

@Andrés Velásquez 1. sound, the sounds are almost identical, you can get REALLY awesome sounds from both units, amps sound like real thing. 2. Built in expression pedal 3. More INPUTS/OUTPUTS, aux in is huge thing for me 4. better PC editor 5.touchscreen 6. more footswitches - fully customizable 7. PRICE 8. AMPERO looks cool ;)

@@jumpingman8160 Never tried MOOER GE300, over my price point and not interested in added features (synth or tonecapture). Ampero is still top FOR ME!! For you maybe mooer is better, just my opinion and my needs for home playing. both are cool units.

I bought it recently. I regretted... worst drive sound I've heard among processors. Drive sound always has some scary tail "zzzziiiiiiiuuuuuuoooooooaaaaa" except two amps: Black Mini & Blue Line

@@johnong2655 Yes. Hello))). it's great. All problems was in my pickups. Sorry for the wrong information. Amp modeling realy natural. Just available doubler doesn't work like classic 30ms stantard doubler (without intensity)
