I absolutely LOVE Vinta Nanda. She is a great example of not letting economics take over art on Indian Television. I would love to see her make a TV show today.

The ‘90s were an interesting time for television. Also, when shows were weeklies and not dailies.

Maam ke bole more like hyperbole. In USA, before Sex in the city there were still a lot of feminist movies and tv series being made Usa is not a scaling machine to compare the feminist talent across the world. So just stop comparing and being like, my shows came before SO WHAT, i can similarly say about your show that it didn't seem to have jackshit affect on indian populace, and sex in the city while not being the pinnacle of feminist media or something still made waves around the world.

But still what about mutual respect and understanding, we can't always be dominating too, the other person also might have choices it was not feminist, it was feminazi I just read the summary online doosre ki bhi actualised self hai, plus west hasnt necessarily " Picked it up from us".

How was the show feminazi? The show was quite literally made in a time when women didn’t have much choice outside of being a housewife, it was very progressive for it’s time

@@eshitasahu have you read the full summary? Have you gone through what it actually was? Full script?? And look at one of the dialouges I m not expecting a person to not express at all but vo ussi ke ghar mei hai and she dosent care about his opinion, his choice, is tyrannically controlling him he is also a son, brother possibly even a father she wasn't even giving him basic dignity
