I think a lot of people missed the depth of this scene. She finally was able to verbalize what she felt and he finally listened and let the words sink in. I don't think he feels lonely with her, but she may have highlighted something he didn't think about. So good. I'm cautiously optimistic for tomorrow.

The fact that junho is still waiting by her house until she gets home just shows how much he truly can’t be without her. He literally ate lunch with all the rest of the office girls and to him it’s just not enough. That in its own should be a sign of how much he truly loves her. But also, he needs to acknowledge that she loves him so much she’s sacrificing her own happiness for him to not feel alone. She knows how much she will care about herself/ her career, and how he might feel as if she cares more about it than him. But she’s always poured her heart out to him, and that’s what she doesn’t realize. She was the one who expressed her feelings first, and that in its own shows that she is capable of truly loving and giving love. I think he knows that, but he always has trouble finding the right words to say to her being so honest. It’s like he almost catches his breath at how honest and vulnerable she becomes without even having to try. And the fact that she would think she isn’t capable of being socially aware is why you just want to cry with her. Because she already is completely socially aware but in different way that still makes complete sense. I need them back together ASAP

Nailed it. As a currently unpublished author myself, I know first hand that it's tough to write good emotional conflict without resorting to cheap things like a really dumb misunderstanding. That's one of a million reasons that I applaud this show. Among its many, MANY strengths, its writing is one of the most stellar and outstanding aspects of the show. Everything feels realistic and while the romance scenes tend to lean SLIGHTLY into the cheese, it makes sense given the slightly more childlike mindset that people with ASD sometimes have. Just a phenomenal show any way you look at it. It has been so long since I've found a live action drama that reached this level of perfection, especially among shows that aren't full of action.

I feel like this scene demonstrates both of their growth and what they've learned from one another. Lee Jun-ho has become very direct and straightforward about his feelings for Woo Young Woo. He used to be very polite, friendly and wary to express himself honestly, but he's learned to be more direct because of her. Woo Young Woo on the other hand has learned to be more considerate of how others are feeling, which she has learned from him. Also to break up with your partner because you're afraid to make them lonely has to be at the same time the most beautiful and the most heartbreaking reason to break up with somebody. 😢

She's such a pure, beautiful, selfless soul.... This scene broke my heart and had me crying... Our Youngwoo can't see that she's already such a gift just by being herself and that she makes Junho so happy. Her world is made up of only her, but he's become such a big part of it that she selflessly wants to sacrifice her happiness and feelings for the sake of his. The ball is in his court now. He can't deny that he feels lonely sometimes, and he had already shown that he thinks deeply and a lot when it comes to his relationship with Youngwoo. But you can tell her sincere love for him, and that the depth of consideration and thinking about him touched him deeply. All her reasons were purely about him, nothing selfish like he was thinking. Being the people pleaser and popular person he is, he is probably used to people acting for selfish reasons or hiding behind social niceties and pleasantries to appear a certain way. He has a lovely soul too, so it's no wonder he was drawn to her. The honesty, pureness, and sincerity that Youngwoo offers is like a breath of fresh air, the kindred soul he probably didn't realize he needed until she appeared. If anything, he is probably deeper in love after this conversation, he just needs to decide how to move forward. I just hope they give us their happy ending, or at least enough to go into Season 2 feeling satisfied and looking forward to the continuation of their relationship.

There's a lot of room for season 2. So happy that they decided to make it on 2024 so atleast JH can still be a part of the cast after his service. We might see Tae Su Mi's husband, and JH's parents. Also looking forward to JH and YW's father meet up. I hope they get married in the end with her finally giving her father the bouquet and hopefully her father meets someone too. I hope more interaction between the siblings, at this point JH still doesn't know that Tae Su Mo is YW's mother.

First off, are we not talking about how she was already sad when he first said her name and she answered "yes?" You could hear it in her voice. Second, another testament to Junho being our green flag man is when she asked him if he's ever felt lonely, and instead of trying to argue about it, even though he had just told her he had to be with her to be happy, he didn't answer because he knew she was right. Plus, I always love how he seems too stunned to speak whenever she tells him her feelings. It's lovely. Their acting was superb in every episode!!

I don't think she's self-centered. Besides this, caring enough about someone's happiness to the point of sacrificing her own happiness, that's the very definition of selflessness. And the fact that she went all the way to the hospital to see Attorney Jung before his surgery also speaks volumes. She cares and loves for the people around her. As an autistic person she probably has difficulty comprehending social cues, or what society deems acceptable in comforting people. But in all the other ways that matter, she shows she cares. The first person who told her that she makes them feel lonely sometimes is her father. But look at that, when the time came, she told Tae su mi that she cannot go to Taesan because of her father. She didn't want to leave her father or betray him even though she has longed for so long for her mother. In all fairness, I hope Junho realizes this too: Young-woo is the perfect person to love for a selfless person. To truly love someone sometimes means that you don't expect anything in return. People love these days because they don't want to be alone. There's a part of them that they want to be filled. Maybe loving Young-woo is much like loving a cat or a dog. They can't really understand you and you always take care of them, but you can feel that they love you and are loyal to you. EDIT: I'm sorry I don't mean that ASD people are like pets. They are not!! I just mean that there are different kinds of love and the love we have for our pets is an example of that selfless kind of love.

I am so glad this scene happened, youngwoo have explained it dearly, she is in fact telling the facts, she is not focusing on the fairytale-like happy statement coz she knows that it is not always like that. The part when junho expressed his struggles in dating her while cleaning up garbage, protesting for whales and dolphins protection, he was upset, youngwoo perceived it as her being a burden coz she thought that was a mutual happy bond.
