@@RisingBeast00 they made Falco and Fox lamer which is kinda alright because they're busted but it makes Falco les fun and cool for sure. Then, they nerfed characters like Dk, Samus, Zelda, etc. It did make gentlemen easier to hit though which is cool. It made a lot of characters that already struggled in top tier have an even tougher time. Even if Firefox is shortened and upsmash nerfed. Fox will still beat mid tiers especially if you take their kills or openers out of play. They also made Link's spin attack where it didn't spike. They made Sheiks down throw worse(debatable) and they made Marth worse. They basically used Pal as a preface for Brawl and we know how bad Brawl was. Plus, Eu said they didn't like Brawl either. I think Melee kinda shines because of it's top tiers so nerfing them makes the game less fun and they also nerfed mid tiers that didn't need it because like always Sakurai made assumptions before the Meta developed. Just like he did in Ultimate and now, there is the unstoppable STEVE lolll

this is cope, the player matters way more than the character. Zains roy beats top players and roy is way worse than samus.

​@@dominater5Not really cope though. The individual matters most no doubt, but there's a reason players like Plup jumped to top 5 after ditching Samus. Plenty of other examples. Character matters a lot.
