Difference is: Dying to sweats in an organic matchmaking experience feels a lot better than dying to sweats in a controlled and manipulative matchmaking system. Sure, its not fun either way in the long run, but it doesnt feel as rage inducing and "unfair" in XDefiant.

Thanks for the advice! I'll be testing out your suggestions. I had a go at the game yesterday, but I haven't quite formed a solid opinion yet. One thing I did notice was that the movement, particularly using the right thumb stick, felt a bit clunky compared to the smoothness of COD MW 3 2023. Additionally, I found it challenging to keep my reticle centered, which became problematic given that I typically play hardcore mode in Call of Duty (where fewer bullets are needed to kill compared to core mode). As a result, I was constantly getting taken out because my aim wasn't quite on point. XDefiant seems to blend elements from Overwatch 2, Fortnite, and old-school COD Black Ops. I plan on tinkering with the settings and investing more time into it to see if I can find a setup that works better for me.

i enjoyed playing last night but tonight idk if its just me and my system/isp or the netcode or what but i felt like i had a lot of unregistered shots and i was having terrible delay on firing input i would click lmb and it would feel like a full second would go by before the first bullet was fired i played with a controller last night but did mouse and keyboard tonight and i could only play like 3 or 4 rounds before i couldnt take the delay and unregistered shots anymore hopefully friday will be better when i play but the game is good overall i have been enjoying myself

Idk If linear or s curve type is best I feel better with jump shots with linear but s curve type really is snappy I have a 1.5kd with sniper the game is fun a tip is to use your handgun for speed it catches people off guard

PSA: My friends and I tested the settings and it turns out that the settings are messed up for the aim assist. -10 actually gives you stronger aim assist and 0 is weaker aim assist. Also another bug with the settings is Mini Map rotation. Set it to off. For some reason it is also reversed. If you have mini map rotation on it will be stationary but if you turn it off it rotates

I usually don't lose my straight up ones, but the times I die I'm either ducking behind cover to reload and somehow still get killed by the enemy, or getting actual hit markers from dumping half a mag into their forehead , and they're still standing until they turn , notice me and kill me in 5 bullets. Its worth mentioning, the TTK vs TTD (time to die) is in this case also a result of hit reg and server inconsistencies. It has gotten a lot better since launch already, but its not perfect. Just keep that in mind, it's not always your aim that's 💩. I do expect things to get better during the next few weeks.

I really enjoy this game so far. I have a bad habit of grinding all the camos in every call of duty the first week the game comes out. I finished mw3 camos zombies/Multiplayer about 8 days after the game launched. And now I don’t touch it. I know there’s more to cod then camos but xdefiant PERSONALLY just feels better to me and I like the different factions. I can see this game getting better overtime and I won’t burn myself out like I did with cod😂😤 This game has the mechanics of valorant and call of duty mixed😭 I love it

My only issue is that it’s a little difficult to get the ads sensitivity multiplier right on mnk. I dropped it to 80-90% but it still doesn’t feel quite right compared to scoped guns in cs, or adsing in apex.

They need to add matchmaking by rank or skill level. Which they do and can track. Also they must fix when u hit a person. Then they kill you. Their health is 100. Dying behind a wall after a second or two after getting hit originally (not fire bullets)

If call of duty and valorant had a baby = Xdefiant Valorant:Aim has to be precise you can’t rush every single round/game you will get wrecked 6 seconds into the round if you just charge in. (Xdefiant same way) Call of duty: the weapons and feel of the game feel very similar to it but you have to take it slower (not to slow) but fast at the same time.

Ubisoft won't hesitate to take down games should they not be worth the hassle. Remember that one quirky Battle Royale game? No? Me neither. Seems Ubisoft forgot it too.
