I love how the wreath turned out! I had seen a different variation with the sheets rolled more tight in two different rows. I believe she use over 100 pages and it was way too full and large. I like the loose roll you did better. Thanks for sharing.

I want to make a wreath in a similar style. I hadn't seen one made this way. The gift wrapped in tartan paper in the center of the wreath is the perfect addition for your home. I thought of you today when visiting the P. Graham Dunn store in Dalton, Ohio. They had a display of a line of Michel Design Works gifts called Tartan that are available on Amazon, too. Every item--soap, lotion, candles, etc.--was presented in a tartan box. Wouldn't that be delightful as little remembrances from a home like yours with all its tartan touches.

YES, I agree! I was reading a book on the very old hymns and songs of Christmas, some dating back to 600 AD. Henry the VIII (of all people) wrote one and is sometimes credited with the writing of “Greensleeves” for Anne Boleyn, although some historians discount that theory.

I have not seen this one in our Barnes and Noble or locally owned book shop. I always try these first and if no luck there, I have used Amazon, Ebay and Thrift books. I am selling this copy on Ebay now for $24.00.
