Such, such an underrated band which deserves a lot more airplay. The depth of their lyrics and back when songs meant something combined to make it an experience listening regardless of time played.

With nothing to do you'd waste away Obscured in exile They've witnessed the times You've gone astray Whose fault? Now you're thinking... Ah there's nothing to prove A snapshot from the crowd to the shore baby And it feels now Just like heaven's coming down So strange are the ways They all have changed Still life it stayed the same A break from the past Could make it last Oh maybe just a little longer Now there's nothing to prove A snapshot from the crowd to the shore baby And it feels now Just like heaven's coming down Your soul shakes free As its conscience hits the ground You surrender (you surrender) Love under will (love under will) Rest assured baby, you're adored And it feels now Just like heaven's coming down Your soul shakes free As its conscience hits the ground These times, this fate Takes a path you didn't choose Stay strong, keep faith There's a change that's coming through Hold on, my love Hold on, my love Hold on, my love Feels like heaven's coming down...

Seriously guys, I was drunk in a bar in Montreal and Jeff was there. I didn’t realize who he was. So we went for a smoke, and I just asked him “hey man... can I, possibly come see your show tomorrow?” He was like “ sure man, get me a pen and paper and Ill put you on the guest list”. I couldn’t believe it.. So not only I went to the sold out show show, I stayed for the meet and greet. And after the meet and greet he was like “ alright guys lets go” and we went downstairs in their dressing room where they gave us “Sol” beers and made us listen to his new song before it hit the radio. The Tea Party are the coolest guys I ever met.

I don;t know how rock music, a ballad like this, can get any more beautiful. It's not sappy or folky, it's rock music, it got that edge, but it's so extremely beautiful. If you like this, they have others equally beautiful like Oceans, a total tear jerking and emotively powerful work, The Messenger-a Daniel Lanois work or These Living Arms. Take my word people, you won't be disappointed in any of these.

I was 17 both our first kiss ever and this song was playing while the lights were low, we were on Rudy's bed, just after all 6 of us watched The Matrix. Everyone was still in the room but I was either in heaven or it came down to me because I was absolutely euphoric. This song during just took it to another level. Every time I hear the opening intro of this song- even though I am 41, 12 years married with 2 daughters, my core memory opens up and immediately I'm back there again.
