Good video mate, I had Air con installed a few years ago in my bedroom but had one of these for a little while. The portable unit was way loud, my professional install is silent. People always tear into me when I say I have AC. Well who was laughing last night 🤣

3:02 I have a portable air conditioner with 5 years. And one of the biggest weaknesses is that hose The hose gets hot and it radiates heat into the room reducing the units efficiency. I have a hose cover for mine that reduces the heat coming from the hose a lot and it makes a big difference.

This seems to be far quieter than my portable air conditioner. Plus mine is a bloody curse because I have to put it up on something so that it can drip the evaporated water into a bucket because the hose for evaporated water is at the bottom of the unit just above floor level. I'm going to try to buy this one here in Ireland for next summer. I can't afford to do so this year.

I have a cool air pro breeze I use at night it's absolutely brilliant costs hardly one unit to run all night long...I bet this is a lot more than that.

A regular fan is nothing compared to this. I have a regular fan for when it's very warm. But when it gets hot the regular fan just recirculates warm air around the room. An air conditioner blows very cold air into the room. But there's a big big difference in electricity usage. A normal fan uses 40watts or less. An air conditioner uses more than 400watts to run.

I have tested boath and the dual hose version is 5 or more times more expenisiv and the performanc is not worth it. Here in croatia you can get best portable air conditioner WHIT A HEAT PUMP for ONLY 130 euros

Ive got the 9000btu one and its rubbish. Really disappointed with the peformance to be honest. Even using the window insert! I think they expect to run it all night

i have the same problem sometimes every couple of hours. i think the dehumidifier is stuck on. i have 2 other units and have never drained them all season.
