Seek the Lord Jesus Christ while he may be found everyone. Be Holy as God is Holy everyone.Sin shortens life, because of our sins we are separated from God. Everyone have an expiration date and this world have an expiration date. There is nothing in this world worth going to hellfire for, depart from worldliness everyone. It's NOT about religion/denomination, it's about a relationship with Jesus Christ by praying everyday, reading the Bible everyday, believe the gospel, While you are still alive repent of all of your sins and be born again. Rapture is imminent, do not be left behind. Jesus Christ is coming back everyone, get yourselves ready. This WORLD is TEMPORARY and HEAVEN is PERMANENT, Choose wisely everyone.,

All placed within a cross-sectional surface area of about 80 mm^2, so even if we could replace neurons, we would need immense precision. I think, to make paraplegic people walk, or do any other motor skill, scientists would need to invent a way to bypass the spinal cord entirely. Make our own electronic spinal cord essentially. those cords would run from the brain cortex and to the individual muscles.

So what I think would be the best use of this technology is spinal injury bypass. One of these devices on the brain, and another below the spinal injury. Bluetooth connecting the two, making people be able to walk again. In its current state, the device can send a signal, but it can't force that signal past damaged nerves in the spine. If a similar device was used below the spinal injury to receive instructions from the brain linked device, this could potentially reverse different types of paralysis. I hope they figure that out and make it happen.

@@DeagleGamesTV he has a point, projecting or not. Why would you need chatGPT in your brain? I understand a search engine, since access to information is always valuable, but letting an AI process information FOR you, in your OWN brain? It's like you're asking to relinquish all control over your life. This is not to say that AI will take over chip implanted humans, but rather it is a philosophical issue. At what point does this endeavour cease to be a pursuit of the betterment of humanity, and instead become a pursuit of transcendence? Technology is evolving at a break-neck speed yet far too few are bothering to consider the implications because they're too blinded by the glamour of evolution.

eyesight is probably as hard to do as it would be to feed complete thoughts into a person's brain. external control of objects is by far the easiest thing for this tech to do but not trivial. the next level up will be reading thoughts or language to screen, and another magnitude up would be feeding information into the brain, that's when sight would be possible.

This will be big for prosthetics. I am sure that they are working on it already. Imagine a fully moveable prostetic arm attached to his wheelchair, equipped with a live camera feed that streams to a screen infront of him enableing him to become autonomous again. One of the biggest impairments when becomeing depended on people is loosing the ability to go to the toilet on their own. One of two, bluetooth controlled robotic arms that are attached to his wheelchair and can be clipped to a railsystem on the walls and ceiling could carry himaround in his home and help him do basic tasks again. My idea to attach the arms to the wheelchair instead of himself derives from the need for power. If the arms are attached to himself then the arms will be heavy and limited by the batteryweight he is able to carry. If they are attached to the wheelchair then a bigger battery powersupply can be carried or even work wired when at home. The arms, when attached to the wall-/ceilingmount, could run on electricity directly from house making them move permentaly. Combing the arms with the capabilites of ai, as shown in the openai demo of Figure 01, could even act indepentendly on their own while his implant is charging and still enable him to cook food, go to the bathroom, answere the door and even attach or detech the charging device for his neural implant. When you start thinking about it, the possibilites are literally endless.

For Nolan this is a blessing big time. For the world this will be a "transhuman" horror as the military then the private sector starts using this tech for all kinds of things that are going to be insane. Imagine soldiers having this in their heads and being blue toothed to weapons of all sorts and the ability to connect to any device that has blue tooth. Enemy or friendly. The enemy gets control of the computer controlling rockets and missiles. They go in and without even a clue to the owner of the device they set off and control where those rockets go blowing up their enemy with their own missiles and they would have no clue. There are things we don't even have a clue about yet that will be very troublesome. No ones phone will be private (Not that they are now) but anything that has blue tooth is going to be able to be tapped into. Just by the thought to do so and without the knowledge or understanding of the device owner.

You don’t necessarily need to know that much about the brain to create a BCI. It’s basically just trying to find patterns in your brain activity. Not that that is an easy thing to do, but it’s not quite the same as a great understanding of the brain and how it works.

I'm thinking about the cons of the device right now. Mainly, just 2. Firstly, what if a nuclear war breaks out? Well, not even that. What if someone or some country detonates a large EMP device over the country, or anywhere there are ppl with Neurallink or Neurallink-like devices? What will the pulse do to them? Will it simply just shortcircuit the device or will it actually damage the user's brain in some way, shape, or form? Secondly, Nolan said that the best way for him to use the Neurallink is through Imagined-movement. And right now there are only two ways to use the device in terms of using it to control other devices. There is Imagined-movement and Actual-movement. So what if the device is given to someone who simply lacks imagination or can't imagine stuff in their mind? Will they be able to get the device? Will there be a larger learning curve for such ppl? What if they can't get it to work through the already proven ways? Even though aphantasia only occurs in 1 to 5% of the population, that's still a lot of ppl.
