Firearm Tutorial: How to make a custom foam insert for your rifle case

Have you heard of Kaizen foam? It's better than the pick and pull foam in my opinion. Especially when it comes the the depth of the pocket you're making.

I am toying with the idea of using those foam rubber interlockiing exercise mats to redoo a case. Anyone tried that material?

I have not, but that seems like it would be a good idea.

if you in high humid area might wanna throw dessicant pack in the case

Yes sir that's the same thing as using those little silica packs that come with like sneakers and toys and a whole bunch of other stuff and old mechanic put me on to that trick I use it for all of my tools that I don't want to get rusty and all of my toys that I don't want rust on

I recently bought the Apache case from harbor freight for my my Glock 19’s and a few days before you released this video bought some Plastic-Dip to do the same thing.

Should have used the T square as your cutting line for a straight cut

To minimize any loose-fitting components, try drawing around each smaller part (like your suppressor or bipod). Otherwise, great vid. 👍🏻
