She reached up into the stratosphere with this song, and like always, she sings directly into your soul. Her ability to do that again and again is truly astonishing, not to mention extremely rare. I feel her songs are deep conversations, telling her story through song is a gift that she’s sharing with with the world! Most people wouldn’t dare talk out loud about the feelings and the rollercoaster ride your on when you’re hurting because of divorce, depression, self discovery etc. To anyone complaining that this album is depressing, and not her best, can go listen to something else, it’s not for you! In this song she literally sounds like she's almost crying, it's such a heartbreaking, pure and refined piece of music. My entire skelton had chills over this vocal performance, it's feels like Adele was possessed with the spirit of Whitney Houston while she was recording it.
