Hey Thought Emporium. Ever looked into Protoplast fusion? You can use pulsed electric currents to cause protoplasts (plant cell with cell wall removed) of dissimilar plant species and cause them to fuse (including the nucleus). Weird things happen with single chromosomes getting ejected somewhat randomly. You can make a tomaco (tobacco tomato) or a potato tomato or even weirder combinations. Might be right up your alley!

Be aware of the water level/quality in your autoclave, and be gentle cleaning. I have that exact model sitting in my attic right now because the heating element is unobtanium. Second note, be sure it is a grounded and fault protected outlet. When the element shorts, it shorts to the pressure vessel. Sucks too. It was a very quick clave to heat and cycle. Much zippier than the tuttenours.

@mattfleming863 жыл бұрын
@@ГуглГовно-м7н Nothing special, just extremely difficult to acquire in my experience. It is a submersible element similar to an electric water heater element with two (pressure bearing) threaded bushings that go through the tank wall. The element makes a rapid 90* bend and loops under the rack. Someone with the manufacturing knowledge/tools could likely duplicate it, but I have not (yet) been able to source a drop in replacement.

Hey nice Video! Regarding pressured air: I don't want to dissuade you using pressured air completely but it's the most expensive energy you can have in a shop. So please evaluate carefully how many tools you want to have using pressured air. When you are looking for air tools keep in mind if they need oiled air or not. also If you have oiled air don't use this air to blast off dirt from your skin in close proximity because the speed of the oiled particles is so fast that these particles get imbedded in your skin! I also recommend you an de-oiler for your pressured air in the lab so you can use this to clean surfaces...

I’ve been wondering ever since I started watching this channel, How do you get the funding for the new lab and your various projects?? I don’t want to sound rude, but I know that equipment and real estate must cost a small fortune. (P.S: When are you bringing back taste emporium?)

Before: "I believe every piece of knowledge should be open source and free". Now: "I want to make money so everything is private". PS There's nothing wrong with wanting to make money but don't speak ill of something that you end up doing.

If you plan on making ruby stuff, and in higher quality, I think it would be cool if you made some sort of sharp objects (ex, a mini knife) perhaps using ruby as the blade and bronze/brass backbone for aesthetic/function.

Freeze drying certain liquid beverages will result in a foam like candy. Pink lemonade should work quite well for this. Gummy candy also puffs up quite a bit.

by far one of the coolest workshops i've seen, but if folk start inexplicitly getting mirgrains you can blame the head height unbaffled lighting (i know i wouldnt last long in there)
