Was stunning to read this was Caitlin's debut directing/editing - you two are just naturals at capturing nature and the fun to be found there! Delightful films and super photos.

What is the fabric of the tent? I would be worried about the sparks affecting the tent like they did the air mattress. Great video!

Great video! I'm about to head up north in Ontario myself for a little portage camping. That first meal looked amazing lmao Any chance that garbage made it out of the forest? Or is it still there?

Great video. What about wildlife (bears)? I see all these other videos where people keep their food hundreds of meters away from the campsite but you two are eating in camp!! Your way looks best by far but is there something I’m not understanding...I’d be worried about bears!?!

Awesome video :) But if you're dreaming doing this -- especially if you're also planning for a hiking trip, keep in mind that you have to invest around 10.000 € for the equipment (for 2 people). The tent (tentipi)with everything is around 2k, you need 2 good backpacks, around 1.5k, all the cloth is around 2k (=4k) per person when it comes to a really good jacket, pants, underwear for hiking, rain jacket, rain pants. Then the special equipment like video camera, drone (DJI) etc. -- around 2k as well. Sums up to 10k after all. Just sayin... :)

I think you are right

Ok so it depends on what you wanna do but first off all let me just say this: you are exaggerating. To go out camping and enjoy the peacefulness and the beauty of nature you don’t need a 1,5k camera nor a 1,5k drone. At all. You can get a very decent tent for 400eur and a very decent backpack for 200eur. If you go out in the warmer months of the year you don’t need extra expensive and extra quality warm clothes... There’s also a good chance you already own at least some of the equipment needed. For two people to go camping on a nice weekend you do not need 10000euros! You are exaggerating. To go out camping with all the fanciest camping equipment, clothes and filming devices in order to produce a high quality youtube video that’s a different story. But i bet you didn’t mean that. I mean why in the world would you? At the end of the day all of this side stuff don’t have anything to do with enjoying camping. PS I know this comment is old. But the amount of ridiculousness of the comment was just screaming for a reply...
@fluctura3 жыл бұрын
@@rompompomkladivo6623 I was commenting on "if you want to do exactly what the youtuber did". It's also pretty obvious that you can do this for less than 10k - but then you'll have to compromise with less comfort. I do long distance hiking for many years now, crossed the european alps a few times and spent months in tents in the wilderness. So.. yeah, you might not believe it, but it makes a big difference in the mountains if you have a good tent, a great backpack or mediocre ones. Idk if you ever have been in a blizzard in the mointains, just because weather can change so quickly... good equipment can make the difference between life and death
@rompompomkladivo66233 жыл бұрын
OK, so basically you were pointing out the obviuos. Extra quality camping clothes and equipment and a very good camera cost money. And If we are talking about the equipment for two people it would cost double. Starting a quality youtube channel starts with an investment of course. If you are doing content which requires a lot of equipment the investment will most likely have to be bigger. And if we are talking about the most fancy and expensive equipment then of course sky's the limit as far as the investing is concerned. That is obvious. Nice things cost money. My thing is I didn't like the discouraging energy of your comment especially because it started with: if anyone is dreaming of doing this... Let people dream, man. Let people dream!
