What a blessing to have this time at home with Jackson. Because this stage in his life will fly. And not many parents both get to stay home during the first year.

the energy in this video goes unmatched. I love it: - admittedly they slap - he's a medieval time stan - easy cheesy chicken salad squeezy - science :) - that's babies - no, cause you're lying - teaching Jackson memes - ....were we supposed to do something...?

I had a TV in my bedroom starting in highschool and to this day I have to have it on to fall asleep. For this very reason I won't allow my son to have a TV in his room, he reads himself to sleep. I think that's a much better way to get to sleep.

I used to fall asleep to a radio as a kid. But now as an adult silence is golden. At work, I have to listen to the radio and so when I am not working, I don't listen to the music. I forget to turn on the radio. I do, however, like to listen to some of your older home vlogs as well as your current vlogs. You guys are a sweet and beautiful couple. Jenn...I find myself trying to mimic you as you are with Tim. Jackson is most blessed to have you both as parents. I have a question...so are you two just as talky off camera as you are on camera? My husband is quiet most of the time. Hope to meet you one day. Keep Christ in your heart. Love from Bradenton/ Anna Maria, FL

I never had a tv in my room growing up. I’m 23 & I bought a tv this year for my bedroom & I can’t have it on when I’m going to sleep. My friend grew up with tv and video games in her room & she’s told me before that I fall asleep really fast lol and it takes her 30minutes to an hour to fall asleep. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I will say I was always kind of jealous of my friends who had TVs in their rooms, but looking back now it was always extra fun to go to my friends’ or have sleepovers bc we could watch movies all night & that was something special for me 😂😂 also soda, we never had soda at my house!

Tim is 100% right about the tv/radio theory. My husband and I talk about this all the time. I never had a tv in my room growing up and always went to sleep in silence, but yet he had a tv since he was tiny and would leave it on all night. Now, I can fall asleep anytime I want at the drop of a hat, usually within 30 seconds of getting in bed while he takes an hour or two and has to read or watch tv (after I"m asleep) I really do think that's what it is. Moral of story......no electronics in your room!

JENN: I'm with you, I can't relax for dinner, or wat a movie unless the dinner dishes are done or the laundry is complete. Thanks for sharing the organizations at the end of the vlog. The idea to do that is genius and I wish other vloggers would do the same thing. Also, my nephew, when he was an infant, used to get gassy, a LOT. My sister swears by baby Gasx drops. I know a lot of parents would prefer not to give their children any medications but if Jackson's was preventing him from sleeping I wanted you to know that it worked like a charm for her. I just wanted to throw that out there for good measure. Have a great weekend to all the "Trackers" out there.

Always had a TV to fall asleep to and I also can not just fall asleep in bed. Same as Jen, I need to watch something for at least 30 minutes until my eyes go crossed. I also can’t relax until my housework is done. Laundry and dishes have to be done before I can sit and relax. My husband is 100% opposite!

I binged watched ‘Normal People’ in two nights as it was sooo good I couldn’t turn it off! I much regretted it the next morning when my 4&8 year old were jumping on my bed at 6am. You really should watch it, I’m sure Tim will be wanting a ‘Connell chain’ before the series has ended 😂

Yes, I have to watch Netflix or some TV show I’ve seen a million times (like Friends) to fall asleep. I actually turn the TV display off, and just listen to it and it’s dark. 🖤 Sometimes I’ll put on a Tim Tracker playlist to fall asleep too though!

Hi Jen, it must be a 👩 woman’s thing, because I cannot relax until I get the kitchen cleaned up. This why you can enjoy watching TV and be happy you took the time to clean up! God’s Blessings be upon you, Tim and Jackson!

Both my husband and I had TV's in our rooms growing up and watched them to help us fall asleep, and we still have to have the tv on at night to sleep.

3 lil things - Jenn! Your hair is so pretty when it's down! It's a true quarantine ombre and looks like sunset. Mine is just omgrey 😂 if you had an instant pot you could throw several boneless skinless chicken breasts, chopped onion, salt pep, 1 1/2 cups water, manual setting 10 minutes and you have chicken ready for your grilled chicken sammies, tacos, enchiladas, burritos, chicken & dumplings, etc. Also - for disinfectant wipes you can use a roll of paper towels cut in to a smaller size (in half?), put in an old wipes container and pour disinfectant over it - enough for paper towels to soak up then pull the corner of the first one through the opening.

Tim don't give up, you CAN sing softly!!! If your voice "cracks" or "disappears" while singing softly its because the vocal folds are not coming together as they normally do when you speak. This part of the voice is called a "break" and is simply the transition between vocal registers (high vs. low) and everyone has it. Professional singers are constantly trying to smooth this area out. With patience and practice you too can sing SOFTLY!!!

Had the TV. Take forever to go to sleep but can fall asleep with TV on easily. Husband had the radio. He lays down and goes straight to sleep.

The song from Jackson’s toy definitely sounds like down by the station. I feel like I know every obscure children’s song thanks to all my years of being a preschool teacher & nanny😂

It's so funny as my dad always sang the same Barry manilow song to me, that exact bit and in that tone so it makes me smile so much when I hear Tim sing it!

Infants older than 6 months only need two naps, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Usually, 10am-noon and 2pm-4pm. By the time he's a one year old, he will only need the afternoon nap until kindergarten. My kids ditched the naps between age 3-4. We found that at that age if they had a nap in the afternoon, they wouldn't sleep until 10pm or later, which was bad. I didn't give my kids naps after age 4, so they were ready to sleep at 8pm. Their day would start after 6am and end at 8pm. This schedule worked well for us, but every kid and their family is different. You might find that Jackson may still need that nap until age 5.

I find it odd that they don’t do a regular grocery shop. Video the other day saying they had zero food in their big house cause the subscription box wasn’t delivered. To each their own! Thanks for the video. I really appreciate it.

To help my son go to sleep at Jackson's age, I would slowly walk around his room holding him and talk about pictures and items on his walls. Just talking about what it was and mentioning the name of the character or object, colors and stuff like that. After doing the same thing for about a week, he wanted to repeat the routine every night and wouldn't let me skip the routine, By the time we made our way around all 4 walls, he'd be very tired and willingly go to sleep in his crib. Took around maybe 20-30 minutes (sometimes quicker). Hope this helps.

It takes me AGES to fall asleep and, like Jenn, I listened to the radio when I was kid. Now as an adult, I read to settle down.

Watchmen is amazing! I just rewatched it and even though it hadn’t been that long since I first watched it the show still blew me away. I can’t wait till you get to episode 6 cause that’s one of the best episodes of any tv show I’ve ever seem.

Hubbo said to fix your rug you need a silcone honeycomb undermat. It will be the best because it isnt an adhesive like velcro. Shoutty caps: DON'T STICK STICKY TO YOUR FLOOR!! P.S. Watchmen was great. Definitely a must watch.

I did have both. Sometimes I need the white noise to fall asleep. I sometimes hear your vlogs while I go to sleep. It helps me settle down. If I'm really exhausted I can fall asleep easily. My days off I fall asleep early. But I always wake up before my alarm goes off. It's weird.

I had a tv and radio that I'd watch in my room when I was young. But when I was in college I made the decision to keep the tv out of the room after having trouble sleeping and only using meditation or sleep sounds to sleep. This strategy helps me focus on the music instead of other noises like when we used to live in the city or when we travel somewhere. Definitely helps to limit screentime where you sleep helps train yourself to be more restful when you're in your room.
