As much as I LOVE the big parks, it's great seeing other local places. Definitely up for more other things to do in the area, even with living in the area when I was a kid and (sorta) regular visits back, I often don't hit up much more than the things I already know and I'm sure there are things in the area I'm not even aware of. I love this zoo! We go there a lot. Feeding the giraffes is a neat experience. Jenn, it looks like you were feeding Emba. He's so sweet. The black bears are siblings who were confiscated from some people who were trying to keep them as pets. The girl is Ella and the boy is Ginyard. It's fun to watch them play together.

i used to work at my local zoo and this video has me feeling very sentimental! it wasn't the greatest job (i didn't work with the animals, i supervised visitor services and other departments), but it was always fun getting to walk by the animals when i didn't have anything to do!

You gotta go to the Brevard Zoo at Melbourne Florida at some point! It's a local gem and I've had so many people from other places in the country visit and all of them were super impressed for it being a small, volunteer built zoo in its origins!

For Tim and Jenn to try and hype it up a bit more: Brevard zoo also has an cassowary exhibit, condors, some fantastic displays for so many of their animals. Last I heard they were updating their Australian section so their free flight aviary was transferred into either the south america section or the Florida section. The Train ride is inexpensive shows you some of the exhibits as well putting you literally into the exhibit (often see them doing enrichment with some of the animals) the giraffe feeding area is SO GOOD, and there are two boat exhibits you can buy into, there are Zipline tree top tours. Pretty much everyone I've sent that way or talked to when I visit the zoo itself has stated that its better than even some of the larger zoos (Not the BIG Zoos mind you). Between the Beach Line and The Zoo is Highway Five Twenty, and if you turn away from Cocoa toward Bithlo you'll find the Lone Cabbage Fish camp to your left. They also have some fun airboat tours as well as the best Gator tail I've ever had (See gators at the zoo, eat gator tail there) OR you could leave the zoo, turn right, and go down Charlie and Jake's Brewery Grille in Suntree. Just follow N Wickham trail east (Following as it turns south) and it'll be in a strip mall on the right. Typically we stop at one of those two after a trip to the Zoo. (Or go to the Avenue and go to the Melting Pot and catch a movie) If any other locals have any suggestions for Team Tracker to do as an activity in the area should they come, please give some suggestions! (Maybe they can check on the progress of the Dragon Point Dragon's build, though. Last update on it I've heard from Anyone was in march when they started demolishing the old ruins so if anyone who's a little more local to the southern most tip of Merritt Island could give an update on how progress is coming it'd be treat to hear!

Put up a bat box. Bats never bother you, and they're actually cute to watch when they fly out at sunset. They eat all - and I mean all - the mosquitoes. Love my bats!

Hey Tim, while the subject of animals is up, I would be interested in seeing a vlog of Lowry Park Zoo over in Tampa or the Florida Aquarium over there as well. In addition, at Animal Kingdom, there's the "Caring For Giants" tour. It's a $30 hour long tour at Animal Kingdom where you get to go back into the elephant facilities and get up close to them, as well as see how they're taken care of. Just some suggestions in case you were looking for vlog material or a possible new experience.

Great video guys! One quick comment for you though. It's a common misconception, but you cannot identify venomous snakes by their head shape. Coral snakes are venomous and have rounded heads, while many harmless water snakes will flare out their head to appear triangular.
