Universal Studios Florida Update! | Trying NEW Foods, KidZone Closures, New Street Show & More!

In today's vlog we head to Universal Studios to see what's new! We haven't been to Universal for a little while so it was so great to be back in the parks, and so much had changed since our last visit. We tried the new menu at La Bamba, which is now open to the public, it used to be used for the VIP tours only so this is a great addition to the park foods. We also ride The Mummy finally! We couldn't film it unfortunately but we talk about the changes we noticed. Then we head back to KidZone which is closing to make some big changes. We'll be sad to see some things go but excited to see what will come of that area in the future. We had a blast today and we hope you had fun joining along! My family and I met Tim this day! My mom was starstrucked and thought I was messing around when I told her I saw him😂 We had a brief conversation because none of my family knew how to act around a celebrity and didn’t want to be a bother lol! Hi, thanks for all the updates. I haven't been to Universal since the 1990s , and it's sad when things change, but usually something cool replaces them. So strange to think that I may have worked the last house for Horror Nights that was based primarily out of KidZone, hoping the area is still available for the event in the future as that parade building was always my favorite to work out of.

I hope you enjoyed the last minute of Woody Woodpecker’s Kidzone, because most of the attractions are closing TOMORROW! This means Woody Woodpecker’s Nuthouse Coaster, Fievel’s Playland, Curious George Goes To Town, and the Dreamworks Destination are memories. With the exception of E.T. Adventure, SpongeBob Storepants, Animal Actors, and Kidzone Pizza Company to remain open for guests to enjoy! We may not know what attractions will be a nice replacement, but let’s find out what the future holds! Universal Orlando will probably bring new Family Fun attractions with beloved animated characters! Either from Illumination, Dreamworks, or maybe a copy of Super Nintendo World like at Universal Studios Japan and Universal Studios Hollywood that recently had a soft opening. But, again…. we never know, but we may find out sooner or later!

Even though they were tiny, $12 wasn't too bad. A basic taco at Taco Bell is between $2-$3 now, and you don't even get chips or anything

I actually have one question about Revenge of the Mummy queue line… does it still have the jumpscare gimmick where you press that blue button and air is sprayed at an unsuspecting guest ahead of you? I’m just wondering because I personally thought that gimmick was hilarious, even though I was a “victim” to that jumpscare and spooked me into doing the “follow the leader” thing with my friends (to this day I’m a scaredy cat 😅)

I rode the Mummy back in December aside from it being kind of bumpy the only issue I encountered was when the scene when the cart rotates before the launch the lights were turned on so it ruined the immersion for me.

I'm just gonna be honest, but Woody Woodpeckers kidzone should just be turned into a DreamWorks area cause Illumination is basically getting its own land with Illumination avenue. But knowing that Universal will get rid of the Simpsons by 2028, I think the Simpsons area should become a Kung Fu Panda area, and the Simpsons ride could be a Kung Fu Panda simulator attraction. And if Universal decides to remove Men in Black or at least retheme it, it should be Megamind or The Bad Guys. Then World Expo Springfield and Woody Woodpeckers kidzone can become 1 big DreamWorks area.

That price for the tacos is problematic and unfair. The parks know how much your tickets cost and know how much everything is the least they can do is not gouge the heck out of you for food. That is insane. Its yet another reason why us average working people dont stand much chance of doing much more then KZbin for these places. I am glad though that you enjoyed it as always.

I used to work in Kidzone at Woody Woodpecker’s Nuthouse Coaster, Curious George, and Animal Actor’s (it was Animal Planet Live when I worked there). Then I got pregnant and worked at ET. I later moved over to Islands of Adventure merchandise in Toon Lagoon. I definitely have lots of memories from working there. Sad to see Kidzone go, but it needed an upgrade. My son is now 20, so it was 20 plus years ago lol…I feel old.

Hey Tim that’s a QR Code on the table, you have to hold the phone up with the camera over the QR it’ll ever directly send your phone to the right page or request you to click on the highlighted QR that it will show on your phone. The same way you use QR directly via your phone camera
