I have been learning so much from your videos! An xray confirmed that I have severe, bone on bone arthritis in my right jaw joint. My PCP referred me to an oral surgeon near where I live in Louisiana. When I saw him, he said that he couldn't treat me and only knew of one person in the state who could. I have an appointment with that doc next Monday. He is the head of the oral surgery dept. at the LSU medical school. I hope he knows about some of these modalities instead of wanting to go right to surgery. I have the neck pain, numbness in fingers, and sleep apnea.

@@msharic85 Hi, since you asked, I am sad to report that I got no help from that esteemed doctor. He could only offer me jaw joint replacement (both sides!) "When it gets bad enough." Nothing at all about action to slow the progression. I feel very fortunate to only have minimal pain. But that may change as it gets worse.

Why is it she should wear night time orthotic lifetime? Is it compulsory for all?

sometimes it isn't possible to come off it. a remember reading about a harvard professor, he had the same issues but sort of managed it by wearing orthotic during sleep, for about 15 years or so. surgery is only done in extreme cases.

I wore orthotic, and now I have the worst open bite. I have headaches and cannot chew. Any suggestions, Doc?

Yes definitely jaw misalignment results in pain through the whole body the reason why you have an issue with your hands is that osteophyte formed in your hand subsequently causing pain especially during cold times as far as i can tell

I’m glad she’s had so much success! I have all these symptoms but I think the orthotics made it worse. I not through three plastic ones and shattered one hard plastic/acrylic one. MaxFac don’t really know what to do with me. They don’t want to keep using Botox cos of bone loss in jaw can be a negative result.
