I don't find this very surprising. Of course a supercar is going to be light compared to a 30k Subaru. The only thing heavier is the larger engine, and larger wheels/tires. Edit: and actually the McLaren weighs 200-300lbs more lol. It's only 150lbs lighter than my 2011 Subaru WRX hatchback. So in comparison it's honestly not very light tbh. It's obviously light for the power and technology equipped with the car but it's clearly heavier than a BRZ, and a 30k USD Subaru isn't a very high bar to cross lol.

@@username8644 The 750S Spider weighs 3170 pounds, the coupe weighs 3062 pounds. A car weighing inside of a range between a BRZ and a WRX hatchback while having 2-3x the power is impressive, a lot of powerful cars usually push the 4000-5000 pound range nowadays

@@username8644we got a keyboard cruncher over here. Your $30k car is light because it’s cheap af and low power. It’s just a small car. The mclaren isn’t small it’s carbon fiber. The larger base helps it handle even better than it already does with the suspension and it’s way faster. It’s not a direct car comparison it’s just a fact that it weighs around what a brz does.

Despite a lot of people complaining about the failure rate of McLaren parts, you can’t argue that the engineering is a true marvel. Chassis design, suspension geometry, aerodynamic simulations. It all plays a major role in what makes this an amazing driving machine.

This is pretty much the prototypical McLaren sound including the turbo wooshs. You’d be pretty hard pressed to tell any of them apart other than the P1 in the sound effects department.

It looks as though this came out before the 720s. Interior looks cheaper. The infotainment screen looks like someone put a PDA from the 90s and some cheap elevator buttons on the center dash and called it a day. I do like the new dash. The old flip up dash felt more like a gimmick than something that helped you on the track. Front and sides of the car look really good. The rear end looks like a step backwards and a bit cheap. I think it's the combined exhaust. The 720s and 765lt exhaust look WAY better. The flat rear deck looks horrible. Entry level supercar looks. The engine sounds AMAZING. Hate the look of the exhaust but damn that sounds good. For me it goes 765LT-720s-Any other supercar-750S. It's just not very striking and seems outdated already. They should have followed the 765LT. This just looks like a slightly modded 720s..... Awesome review. Thanks!

hey man for me supercar mid low budge is mclaren top 1 sec is honda nsx type s best experience real sport car i love both of this category vs any porsche and last i will choice gtr3 the new but top 1 mclaren sec honda nsx drive daily and i love hybrid mclaren v6 real top engine v6 vs any v6 in the world best sound better sound of the big brothers v8 is more clear sound or noise from v6 so natural.
