The problem is that in this Premium High Performance plus Handling pack spec, especially if you get the Recaro seats, the price is stupid. You’re almost to the price of a GT PP1. But the smart move for $45k (or less) is still the Camaro SS 1LE track pack. There is no better performance per dollar under $60k than the 1LE. But according to Ford’s car configurator you can have a 2.3 High Performance/Handling package in manual for $36k with a current $1500 incentive. That might be worth it. That said, if you don’t need the upgrades (High Performance package is separate from Handling pack, but Handling requires HP) the regular Ecoboost is a fantastic performance value.

@@GeneralGreek yep and the stang doesn’t put the power down like a 4 wheel drive system paired to a dsg transmission .

Did you drive one with less than 1k miles ? Engines that sent broken in don’t deliver full power also 93 octane is the only way to go with a turbo engine .

I do like the ecoboost, though, they don't last as long as V8s. Putting a lot of stress on a smaller engine will result in problems early on. It will burn oil or mechanical problems.

When I see a mustang and it turns out to be an automatic and anything less then a 5.0 V8, I always lose interest.
@monkeydluffy35064 жыл бұрын
Well, ecoboost is meant for countries that has high taxes and pricey gas. For example, EU countries.

43 grand???? I’d rather get a BRZ .... it’s slow, but you could tune it lol and probably add a turbo to supercharge.. 😂😂

Completely different kinds of cars. They don't really compare
@M4B21S884 жыл бұрын
Brz goes for 29-32k... This mustang hpp is FULLY LOADED. A FULLY LOADED GT goes for 10k more than this. Ive seen a few HPPs at my local dealer goin for 31-33k.. Performance for the money, the HPP is the better option. First ud need to turbo the brz to reaallly get the most out of it with a tune. So 28-32 grand plus about 5-7 k on mods puts you closer to 40 grand... How is that better .....lol
@bricklayerlzdp98254 жыл бұрын
43k will get you a premium 2018-2019 GT 10speed fully loaded. Honestly only way I'm paying 40k for a 4 cylinder is a suburu and that's just for the awd and nice sounding engine/ tunability
@M4B21S884 жыл бұрын
Bricklayerlz dp have you heard of dealer incentives? Ultimately, let others spend their hard earn coin however they want. Majority of mustang owners dont spend over 38k for their cars, so dont give it much thought, dude.
@smurfeco2.3584 жыл бұрын
You make it seem like a turbo or supercharger you can add it with 20 bucks . Add that to the brz your adding 7 grand more plus the crap that’s going to brake . Ecoboost comes boosted from factory and with a simple tune there pushing almost 400 torque no way a brz is doing that. Ecoboost makes way more torque than a coyote. The ecoboost is way more fun than the gt I’ve had both .

The car looks sexy from the outside but from the inside, its ugly as hell. They need to make the interior better and improve the speedomoter and the infortainment thing.
@mokokoco47203 жыл бұрын
Totally wrong. I test drove one today and let me tell you that this is one of the best interiors out there. It’s crazy how nice it is when you got the good packages in it
