I plan on getting an ecoboost as my first car as well, its just a better decision for me as I dont really care about being loud and fast, I just want the looks, and ofc all the comfort features, thats why I plan on getting the premium model with leather seats and all the bells and whistles, soo excited

My uncle has a 2017 "Ecobeast" and he loves it. Says the lighter engine both makes turn-ins super easy and helps compensate for the lower HP vs. the 5.0.

Im late but theres plenty of differences like the stereo system, leather interior, larger infotainment screen, different settings like mycolor and other little things. But there are also different ones that have some premium features but cloth seats im pretty sure

One of the reasons they don't do it is because the hood is heavier and they wear out faster over time. The prop will have no mechanical issues in the future (longevity) I do understand where you're coming from though.

Ford stopped putting the 3.7 V-6 in the Mustang in the year 2017. Now you can only get the eco boost 2.3 or the 5.0. The Bullitt and the Shelby get a little extra with a special intake. I own a 2017 Mustang V-6 and love it. It makes 300hp and gives me 21 mpg around town if I drive like a grand pa. I thought about trading up to a Mustang GT 5.0. However, they starting using plastic oil and transmission pans on them in 2018. And being old school, I'm not going for it. The same plastic pans you will now find on a Ford Explorer ST for about $58,000. WTF, Ford.
