I vote for Scott's setup because of its simplicity! Would be a better setup for me overall. Cameron's setup resembles what we have here in Canada for most tradies. Getting in and out of the van and tight working quarters becomes old real fast. Add the fact that I am 6'2" and bending forward in the vans is common for me and a definite peeve of mine. Scott's setup is mostly accessible from the ground making it a novelty. The setup seems more intuitive. Not sure it would work well in the winter time but I like how everything is accessible directly off the ground. Plus the timber sheets are set flat leaving them nice and dry and easily pulled. Both are great but I lean towards the green striped van ;) Festool Festool Festool... wow, lots of dinero in that van... would be worried riding around with over $50k in tools in the back of my van! For my sake, I prefer Makita, DEWALT and Milwaukee tools. Their price points and usefulness are just right for me. The Grey/Green color scheme is too attractive for the 5 finger reduction types. Not sure Festool really isn't much more then a hype... then again, they are too rich for me and I think cordless tools and their batteries have a defined life span that makes investing top dollars less worth it. But by God, what a bit of kit Cameron has... and both are soooo organized too. Good job to you both!

I wouldn't buy any of the cordless stuff for reasons you have mentioned but the corded stuff is great. @hotdog1605 жыл бұрын
Well.. working for 10y, I assure you I saved money with my Hilti, Festool and Mafell, When my mates are burning 3 dewalt tools, mine are still working flawless. Not to mention the aftersell service and longtime remplacement parts.
@artconnolly95194 жыл бұрын
My rule of thumb is I want cordless if I use all the time. And corded when it's a special tooling hardly use. That way I still have it when inevitably the battery tech changes
@ibrazeau30444 жыл бұрын
Art Connolly I used to think this way as well but now all my daily tools are cordless and I've kept most of my corded for home use... to be honest, I still use all my cordless at home as well. I now hate extension cords and having to find plugs. Cordless is so much easier and efficient. It's like evolving from a tool case to a tool belt. So much more efficient. Either way, none of my tools (Milwaukee) have crapped on me yet. Been 5 yrs now and they are still going strong. I see no purpose to go to Festool at this moment but ai am sure I'll get the bug at some point. I've bought a few Hilti tools and yes they are the bomb. Their choice isn't that great yet for my liking though. Milwaukee, IMO has the best choice overall for now. Can't go wrong in any of these brands.

Wow both are awesome vans! Quite organized compared to our carpenters here in the USA! It's a hard choice between the two, one is nice to walk through and stand up in but how neat and tidy is the flat top inside to transport a door or sheets of plywood!

Hi fellas; i'm a handyman (RONI HANDYMAN SERVICES) out of a little place called Lockhart in Orlando Florrida. USA. I think both vans serve their purposes so a thumbs up for both; even Steven!

Super late but I like Scott’s van a little more. Both are super neat though, thank for making this video.

I like the practicality of the SBC van. Basically because once you're out of the van, you don't necessarily have to get back in for anything. If you don't mind having to walk around the van, having everything at the same level, without needing to reach too far is a plus.

Old mate seems like an absolute top notch fella. The organisation in there is soothing!

Camerons van is cool due to all the tools. But i like yours too. I like how compact your setup is. Also maybe you could add a locking system to it so it would slow down the thieves. I also like yours for space above the tools for sheet goods and other materials.

Cameron's Van is a mobile workshop, insanely good in the way he has it organized,BUT, my choice would be SBC Van. I like it's simplicity, ability to carry sheet goods or lumber as required, and it still get's you over the line when it comes to completing your job requirements as your loaded with the essentials needed. 4.9 to Cam and 4.95 to Scott...fix your drawer runner and you get that 5.
