That area got shipping to the Philippines. I went there early January to ship a package to a friend in the Philippines. It's much more affordable than the USPS. Also the Philippine postal service has a bunch of thieves working for them. They steal items from packages. One time I sent someone a calendar in a large manila envelope with $20 it never arrived. Someone else I sent an envelope that too never arrived. Also they allow you to ship a package directly from the seller to their place then you can email them and send the name of the person whom you want the package shipped to and give them your payment over a secure system.

Being born and raised in Jackson Heights I have to say you definitely got a lot of the great highlights that Jackson Heights and Woodside has to offer. That being said, I do have to say you missed a few other major Jackson Heights/Woodside landmarks like its rich Colombian/Ecuadorian/Cuban history and cuisine as well as it's very LGBT friendly establishments as it hosts the second largest LGBT Pride Parade in NYC every June. Jackson Heights is much more diverse and it spreads in all directions, with Diversity Plaza being the epicenter. Other than that, it is another great video and it pretty much sums up all of Jackson Heights. Thank you for visiting and making it a highlight to one of your episodes! A big fan here and I hope we meet one day soon! Take care and happy travels.

It's such a shame that V&V Bakery on Roosevelt Avenue next to the LIRR overpass closed down. It was there for decades and had the best cookies one could ever imagine; nothing has replicated the taste. Also the Cuban Restaurant a few blocks up was really good. It was another place that was in Woodside for years; it closed down and became another Filipino place.
