4:19 Yah, people are already complaining that he’s not on the road to find Wanda.. even though she’s one of my top characters in the MCU it irritates me that people see Billy as ONLY an extension of her character. He’s his own character and has his own perspective, him not being dead set on finding Wanda currently makes sense from where he’s coming from. Also in Children’s Crusade when Billy and Tommy go to find Wanda, Billy and Tommy reunited before they decided to do that together. That’s when they found that she was trapped by Doom after her memory was lost.

He also doesn't refer to her as 'mom' in the comics, but as "Wanda." He is very much Billy Kaplan in the comics. Here, he doesn't even remember Wanda, but has had 3 years with Rebecca. Of course he's not going to just suddenly see Wanda as mom.

The delivery of “I loved being a witch” 😭😭😭 Also this entire episode was shot and edited so beautiful, there were so many creative sequences. Also the Lady Death reveal got spoiled for me because of the Funko Pop leak weeks ago around when the 3rd episode aired, but the visual of it was really cool and eerie.

@@nataliabusko1432 Wiccan was obvious but Rio really wasn’t.. everyone was still theorizing until the Funkos were leaked. A lot of people claiming to have “theorized” that it was Death after the Funkos leaked… were usually lying and saw the leaks. It could’ve been the character Black Heart like many were thinking and the black heart never got explained until last episode. Regardless of how obvious, it was obnoxiously stupid for Funko to allow that leak to happen. Franchises like Marvel and Star Wars need to stop trusting Funko and Lego until they get their stuff together and can keep a secret.

15:52 She took Agatha's son. Agatha made a deal for the Darkhold, and her son, Nicholas, was the price she had to pay. Rio didn't want to do it (as she said back in episode 4), but she didn't have a choice, she is Death, she takes the souls of the dead to the afterlife, but she has no say over when a person dies (to my understanding anyways).

Yeah, she doesnt cause death directly and cant kill, but she is literally DEATH, she (Death's favorite form to assume is female), is the Grim Reaper, she collects mortals at the end of the road of life.

She divines which means she doesn't have to be there to see the future. For instance she wasn't there when William died but she foresaw it. No one told her he died the night she did his reading yet she says 'I saw what would happen to you that night.'' Also at this point i don't think he remembers being Billy Maximoff because he says he was surprised by his power. he knows he can read minds but that's the only power he knew he had. If he had remembered being Billy he would have known he had more powers. He said he senses Tommy but I doubt he actually remembers him. He seems surprised when Ralph tells him Wanda had kids and had to ask their names.

I think Lilia has two forms of future knowledge. - She is a Divination Witch, so her magic, spells, and tools like Tarot ot tea leaves etc. give her glimpses of what MAY happen. - She is The Traveller. Her active mind moves through time, which allows her to see some things that WILL happen. She can use her visions and magic to warn or advise, possibly lessening or averting what she has "Seen". Things she has seen (by BEING there) are fixed and cannot be changed. Her triumph was to realize which was which, because until now she thought everything was pointless, that she was a fraud. Now she knows differently.

@@MichaelTibbs-l5e maybe the road for divination witches is a way to escape the "curse" they have, a hail Mary, for witches who want to change the fate of their lifes. If that is the case sometime they might need to die in the road to "set things right". That or the road kills the witches because as we see with our beloved Yellow Witch, the time jumps become too frequent and can lead to a state of "delirium", and for their power to be complete they need to control it to the full extent. If i made it too complicated i'm sorry, not a native english speaker.

good observation on Lilia giving Agatha that heads up. I feel like young Lilia was seeing her entire future and maybe changes the outcome some way. Maybe the reason we don't hear her hit the swords is because we first see her falling in a dark void in the beginning.....maybe the trial of the tower disappears as she's falling and some how her consciousness goes back to her younger self and she finally realizes what she needs to do. It a reach of course.

…no she’s dead. She read Billy’s future and saw what he would become- that she won’t be there for. She said she didn’t read the future. She reads people and their reputations. So, when William stepped into tent, she was simply reading him. Also I remember seeing an interview with Patti and someone asked her if she’d come back for a season 2, and she almost let it slip that “that would be impossible.”

Maybe not. It could be her spirit there somehow. Like if Rio collected Lilia’s and Ali’s spirit and they appeared during an intense power blast stalemate to tip the favor in Agatha’s favor - think like how Harry Potter’s parent’s spirits helped him in the final battle. But i do hope she is alive.

Billy is not one of the witches of the coven. His role is Agatha's familiar. The final trial will be that of the green witch, meaning Rio. So it will be very imteresting to see what kind of trial awaits Death herself!

It's been confirmed by the showrunner that Billy is the true fifth member of the coven (he is the black heart on Lilia's list, not Rio), and Rio isn't actually a member of the coven (she's "a tourist," as Agatha said in ep 4).
