With all respect sir, even though I am no expert, but training neck and tightness of jaw makes you lesser prone to a knock out. Learning clinch, liver shot and different ways to shift and throw bodyweight behind a punch also helps. Developing hand and eye coordination with proper leg movement and head movement also helps. Explosiveness exercises like clean variations, box squats, speed deadlift etc are beneficial besides the cardio. Also, conditioning by taking punches and even kicks to different areas where you can be hit in a boxing match. Imagine what you put yourself through while traing for the deadlift. Big fan.

@Grofor Octavio Armas Vega ignore Kane, not sure wtf he’s talking about... These lifts were done with massive diameter plates and a short bar, so the athletes have a shorter distance to pull while starting at a higher point in the lift. Eddie pulled 500kg from way closer to the ground, using standard plates. When you hear strongmen talk about levers, fulcrums, etc. they’re referring to exactly this factor, the distance covered. The short torso/long arm segment of the video was indicating that it is easier to lift big weights when your knuckles scrape the pavement while stood upright.

@@jRoy7 I agree there. Brian performed better than most of the guys and threw the kegs higher. The thing he got beat on was speed, not power. So if they increase the height of the bar and/or weight of the kegs, i think that would thin out the competitors. Not this many guys completed all of the kegs in the past. Most guys would gas out on 4-6 kegs.
