All of the tracks were slower(pitched down as a result too) for the PSX version of MK Trilogy. Never knew why it ended up like that but I enjoyed it. Just like playing at the arcade!

Funnily enough, that's actually a complete accident! The MK3 music was implemented in this game at a 48KHz sample rate, but the playback was done at 44.1KHz instead, slowing it all down!

That’s what was so much fun about this game. As a kid I knew shit was about to go down every time I heard The Bank track. That’s my favorite track in the game also my favorite stage. As soon as the announcer says “FIGHT!” and you hear those drums you know what’s about to happen. I listen to that track now as an adult. Never gets old.
