Some of you need to understand that the issue isn't that Muller was onside, it's the fact that the play was called. As a Madridista I can say it would be a goal IF the play wasn't already stopped and the Real players stopped their play. The whistle should've never been called, it should've come afterwards. That way it gives Real players a chance to continue their defensive play and allows Bayern to continue their attack. Whether Bayern scores that same goal of the Real players don't stop, we will never know.

Firstly, yes the whistle blew before he took the shot but that's not the argument. The argument is that the whistle shouldn't have been blowed because the offside flag went up when nobody was actually sure if he was offside. Plus, the added time was there due to the var decisions that you already mentioned plus other stoppages. Criminal substitutions from Tuchel to take off Kane and Sane for a defender. I would understand 2 goals up but taking off two strikers when it's 1 goal away from extra time and penalties? As a madritista, It's not offside and it was absolutely a mistake but the alternative would not to have given the goal but to give bayern the ball back with a few seconds to play because the play officially ended with the whistle. The only reason bayern scored was because real players litreally stopped playing because they heard the whistle.
