🤣🤣😅 Actually that was my wife and I really did call her. As for your previous point, I can only talk from experience. Sure, you can disagree and you are free to do so, but I can only be honest about the items I share and how I feel about them, for me to do otherwise would be disingenuous. Besides, why would I share or spend my free time making a video about things I loathe for an EDC, it would make no sense and would not be beneficial to my audience who only deserve the best. In your honour, todays pinned comment of shame goes to you! Thank you for watching, sending lots of virtual hugs and love your way. Onwards, upwards and best regards! TGV

My most worn watch this year has been the Pepsi 5KX. Last month me and my wife went on a trip to Italy and in one days we visited Milano, after visiting the sights she insisted we go to the Seiko boutique (I didn't put on much of a fight). Thanks to my very generous wife I ended up with a SRPE93K1 turtle and since then it never left my wrist. Now, the reason she insisted so much is that last Christmas we took a trip to Firenze, where she got some nice Chiarugi gifts, I wanted to get a watch but ultimately I chose not to, because I wanted her to be happy. I guess she wanted to return the favor this time. The turtle I got then became my most cherished and special watch, I even named it Milano, so I always remember where my wife got me the best gift ever.

Thanks for another great video, I love your class and style. One thing I do think is missing is the mandatory requirement for men to be the protector of the family and society in general. Sometimes you need to fight and for a gentleman, the fight will usually be forced upon you, as it is always better to walk away if possible or moral to do so. Combat focused martial arts and knife/gun proficiency is a must IMHO. You are physically fit which should be the goal of every gentleman, but more is required. Nice update! My most worn watch the first half of the year was an IWC Pilot Mark XX. The 2nd half of the year, the pink Tudor. Yes, I got the call. I was on the fence. But when I tried it on, and really looked at the dial, I caved in, and enjoy wearing it. I do rotate between those two today, and I smuggle a few others in. I wear a Nomos Tangente quite often, or one of numerous Seiko Cocktail Times that I completely adore. As a beater watch, I wear a Tudor FXD on an Erika’s MN strap from Holben’s.
Part of my EDC is a nice quality cotton handkerchief. They can come in very handy for a variety of things, don't take up much room, and to me are a sign of pure class.

Run them in 4.4bal with a dac amp- something like a Fiio Ka2 or Moondrop dawn pro will be fine (however after only a few months use the cables have gone dodgy on both). I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the work you put into your content-it’s helped ignite a new passion and appreciation for horology. I feel like I’m just at the beginning of this journey. Recently, I’ve started with the classics, including a Casio F-91W (which I bought for both my kids and myself) and a DW-290, both of which I love for different reasons. What’s next? This summer my Casios have had a lot of wrist time. Two of my favorites have been the DW290 and the W218h. The 218 is a watch that looks like a GShock square but only cost less than $15 and is very thin. I got an olive drab color that goes with about everything. As the months have gotten colder I switched over to my SARB 033 with a leather strap to its original Seiko bracelet. I love the oyster bracelet look of the Seiko bracelet. I’ve been looking for a dive watch, after looking at a dozen micro brands. I made a uturn and came back to Seiko. I have my eye focused on the Seiko SPB453. Though I had considered the SRPL13 which looks very similar to the 453. That some people have incorrectly called it a new Samurai. Seiko just decided to have two similar looking watches at totally different price points. Now if I could only get a deal on the 453😂

I also have a stainless steel bracelet on my Zelos Mako lll true GMT that has a meteor dial apx. 4.5 billion years old…..like as in it formed about the time our solar system was coming into existence. That, (especially for a watch nerd) is super special as you can easily track 3 time zones and the blue dial and ceramic, 48 click bi-directional bezel in blue ceramic……man, that’s uber cool. Good morning sir. Just chilling out in style with your video while the wife has gone to get her nails done 😂 I can't think what my most worn watch is, apart from my Garmin Fenix 7X Solar Sapphire. It's always on my right wrist, and then I wear a proper watch on my left. I have several straps for my Garmin and pair them up with a paracord bracelet, but certainly not one costing more than £10. David Zaritsky is certainly into his Omega sailing bracelet. Crazy money for what it is! I had to force myself to take off the RMII as I was neglecting my other watches 😅 Absolutely love it. I've recently got some bund straps to try it on. I recently re-did my EDC keys. My dad's leather key case that I inherited was starting to wear, so I got myself some carabiners and split rings and multitool gadgets, just cheap ones from Aliexpress. You can get some good stuff if you search around. Onwards sir 🇬🇧👍🏻

Just to say your video productions are a simply awesome. Thanks to you, my collection of military/diver/pilot watches includes a Hanhart 417 ES 1954. Btw, Steve McQueen always wore Persol sunglasses.

Hi, TGV! Long time fan. It's been interesting seeing your watch taste evolve over the years. It occurs to me that you seem to be converging towards investors call a "barbell approach", where you gravitate towards sporty, tool watches or slim dress pieces, with less emphasis on the middle (hence the name, with more emphasis on either end and less on the middle, like the side profile of a barbell). Thanks for all your content, can't wait for the grail review and this year's SOTC!

I’ve bought every major manufacturer’s sunglasses and finally settled on Barton Perreria. I have them both in sunglasses and spectacles. Speedy but 100% worth the price and fantastic customer service. Invest in a pair and visit the boutique in NYC

I’ve been rotating between my Hamilton Murph 38mm, my Lorier Neptune SIV and my newest watch the Marathon GSAR 41mm. Loving them all! I typically carry my Benchmade 940 Osborne and my Streamlight Protac 1L-1AA. I usually have my Leatherman Wave+ on my belt as well. The only “jewelry” I wear is my wedding ring and an Alaskan Walrus tooth “Billiken” on a leather cord. The Billiken has an interesting backstory. You should look it up! Mine was carved by Andrew Kunayak, Sr.. A member of the Inupiaq people in Alaska. Thanks for the video! Pure class, as always!!! O&U

Most worn piece at NIGHT is my 41mm SteelDive 300M GMT Master homage because of it's insane lume and fully lumed bezel. I took this one to Japan and went snorkeling with it. Then there's my Tudor FXD Chronograph but the one that I'll probably wear the most (when I get it back from reluming) will be my archaic yellow April 1969 Seiko 6139 (Pogue) JDM 5 Sports Speedtimer - love that thing! This watch has made me consolidate my collection - I have bowled one piece and three more are on sale right now as I want to focus on archaic Seiko Chronographs (of which I have several). I'm a bit loose with EDC - need to tidy my act up a bit! I do have a cigar case in every suit jacket for the purpose of carrying business cards. I very occasionally wear a sentimental gold chain bracelet - as I'm a musician I'm scared of losing it as I lost a precious one once when removing it backstage at a concert (can't play a guitar with one of those on my right wrist) and I don't want to scratch my watch with it. Great video as always!

Caltagirone knives, made in Italy. Great tools for a very modest price. I have a vintage folding version, about the size of an Opinel no 9 but with sturdier blade and no safety locking. Really nice looking piece with brass fittings.

Regarding the fountain pen: As one of your many German viewers, allow me to recommend maybe trying a basic LAMY? I am dyslexic and write in caps too and I must say ever since school I love writing with LAMY. It's an absolute tank and you can write in whatever way you want with it. 😊
