I've got a BLOCKAGE!

Little bit of a mixed video this week, I take you with me on a little drive along around the streets of Lincoln showing you where I would and wouldn't parkup for the night in my motorhome while making my way to a @Park4nightplus that I'd found on the app close to a river.
It's also a little day in the life really, following me along with what I get up to on a regular day living full time in a motorhome.
There is one slight twist and that's a blockage, my bathroom sink isn't draining and I can't seem to fix it! If you've got any hints, tips or advice on how to sort my blocked sink problem, please drop them in the comments below, I'd really REALLY appreciate the help!

blocked sink, put Bicarb of Soda down plughole (quite a bit) pour White Vinegar this will foam up do not worry, this effect will happen in the pipe and hopefully clear your blockage.

Hi Darren, the sink can be linked to the shower pipe work so you might to be looking in the wrong location, if that’s blocked it will have a knock on effect to anything else, hope it helps 👍

See if you can do a park up in the city of London, that would be interesting. As for your blocked sink, it probably just needs the pipework undone and cleaned out. Usually pretty easy. Chris

IIRC, Leticia Dean used to live in one of those "posh houses". I'm surprised you took your van up that street near West Common - they're ridiculously narrow and I would think twice about taking my car up there. You were right not to park near that block of flats. That's Trent View, one of the more depressed areas of Lincoln. You probably would have had more than "the knock" if you stopped there! 😂

I live just around the corner from where you was first looking for a park up.. just off Skellingthorpe road, lincoln... loads of places you could've parked up here instead of venturing down the Monks road, river witham area.

The Mr Muscle bottle is meant to be used as the whole bottle. Pour the whole bottle down the drain at night before you go to bed. It takes hours for it to do its magic. First thing in the morning pour a kettle of boiling down the effected drain and that should flush out the blockage.

A clogged drain can be Cleared with Bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar. Will also clean Stained and smelly plastic food containers. Bicarbonate of soda has a lot more cleaning Solutions.

So many people are territorial about parking spots near them. On Friday a friend and i parked our cars in a large layby to leave them there for the day while we did a carshare down to the NEC. Guy from the cafe was really shirty - this isnt a parking place, only overnight parking for trucks according to him 😫. BUT it is signed with a dirty great big blue 🅿️ and not a resticted parking notice in sight. Too early in the morning to get into an in depth discussion about the rights and wrongs of parking in a layby so we just moved further down the layby. And he very generously agreed to ‘let it go this time’ 😫🤣🤣🤣

Hi Darran, my ensuite sink blocked from a combination of toothpaste, shaving cream and whiskers. I had to remove the drainpipe elbow (where the blockage was) and clean the elbow out and re-installed it. Kind regards, Stuart

Make sure that when you plunge it there is plenty of water in the basin. If you hold it down really tight and plunge repeatedly it should clear it. The water pressure should clear the issue.

The trap for the sink will be directly below the plug hole , screw it off and empty it out, that should do it, if not one of those Flexi pipe cleaners

can you get at the trap under the sink? if you can just unscrew remove and clean the pipe in case there's a blockage in the bend. remember to put a small bucket or old towel to catch the crap when you remove the trap..

undo the U bend in the pipe work and see if it is blocked, hair is an issue so if you have cut your hair or shaved over the sink it may be congested

just use caustic soda Darren-- does the trick every time-- & its safe--with gloves of course & ventilation!!

Don't use caustic soda as well as what is already in the pipe/holding waste tank. It could react and create something like chlorine gas. Which would be extremely bad for you.💀 . Persist with your plunger,by pressing down hard and pulling up with a lot of force. The suction should pull up whatever is blocking it. Or get an extremely long wire tie ( use a Stanley knife to put sharks teeth on the edges of it.) then use it to poke through the plug hole to pull out the obstruction. My preferred way of cleaning out the pipe would be to dismantle it because of the plastic sink and pipe. It is NOT likely to be associated with the shower yet. They are connected under the floor. If you had said that the water was coming out of the shower waste into the tray then,I would have agreed. I am a retired plumber with my own motorhome, with many years of caravanning and motorhomeing. I would Never put anything metal down the pipe as it will likely puncture the side of the pipe! Having said all that you might want to go back to Oak tree.Good luck Darren.

Morning daz take the trap of under the sink and clean it out if that fails find something long and narrow and carefully push down the pipe that will unblock it ,great vlog again this morning love watching to see what your upto and where you are . Sink Blockage - Place plunger over hole and seal against the sink. Raise and lower the handle whilst trying to keep base sealed around plug home. This should create a vacuum and aid the unblocking. When you believe the water lever has dropped repeat process and finally a couple of single plunges to blow it all through

Alternatively, cover drain with plunger, agitate wildly. Or, collapse plunger manually, seal over drain, release. When plunger resumes its shape agitate wildly.

Read the bottle, think you need to use all if it. As for tv show "Constellation" starts on the international space station after an accident, thinks it's a parallel universe... Park up try Kensington in London, I know you can park on Eaton Square after 6pm I think, look on street view.

When trying to design your own system you _absolutely need to know_ what you want _and need_ it to do, preferably with allowances for future considerations.
