My mother-in-law is going on Hajj this year financed by me and my husband, because otherwise she'd never be able to go. She's Indian and it's very hard for Indian people to go on the lottery-based Hajj because there are simply so many Indians who want to go. So, my MIL is going with a private company. It's ridiculously expensive... I'm happy she gets to go since it's extremely important to her, but both my husband and I are not convinced we will ever go since we both just see so many things being wrong with Hajj these days.
