Can’t agree with you more. Absolutely bang on. I love Stevie Y and what he means to Detroit. But it huts to say that he needs to take ownership of this pathetic display of hockey this team is playing. Not doing anything is mind boggling. How the hell Lalonde is still behind the bench blows me away. This team is hard to watch and Lalonde keeps going with the same formula expecting a different result.

Like I am with you on lalonde but when people tell me, who has he signed the last 6 years that have been significant? I go okay well WHO has wanted to play here?? Like we have been garbage the last 6 years so, so it’s a fair question, what big star free agent not named Debrincat or Kane has wanted to be in detroit

None. The wings fan will literally jump off of a bridge if yzerman told them to. It's stupid how loyal they are to the boys club. Yzerman was never a good free agent GM. He had amazing scouts in Tampa who told him who he should draft. When left to his own devices he produces garbage like the yzerman dead thinfs

The Walman trade, I MEAN DUMP! This was when I began to REALLY scratch my head at Yzerman's plan. It's so sad. He loved playing here. We loved Walman. It continued with Maatta and now we have two Defenseman who are some of the best in the league backed up with some of the worst in the league.

Yzerman is the main problem, and the coach is a secondary problem. This organization does not know how to win in the salary cap era. I thought one of the saddest days was when Chelios left to go back to Chicago--because few people are more competitive than Chelios. We needed him in our organization. I didn't like losing Bertuzzi either. I know all the excuses will come why they had to do it, but here's the thing: who did you replace him with? You have to have guys like him on your team if you want to win. This team is built wrong! That's the main problem.
@chip69544 сағат бұрын
That's been my concern...allowing Stevie to simply change coaches, guarantees him, the root problem, another 3 seasons

I tried to defend the Yzerplan at first but I just can’t anymore. SY has made too many bad signings and questionable decisions, and hasn’t held his coach accountable for lack of leadership and failing to motivate the team. At least the prospect pool looks promising, but thats about the only good thing Yzerman has done during his time as Wings GM. At this point in the rebuild the Wings should be seeing results and not tanking, and that falls on him.
@krimsonshadow948 сағат бұрын
What would you do? You embrace the tank, cause you got nothing in the pipeline thats not a bottom 6er or a fringe top 6er and you cant trade most of these guys, just cause of how bad there contracts are. So tank on and get the face of the franchies, if you can even do that right and maybe suck one more year to get these contracts out of here and maybe guys like ASP, Kasper and Nate will all be hear.

Yup , worst thing we did was try to win a few yrs sooner which resulted in us drafted 8 &9 and missing out on guys like michkov leonard gauthier Etc... best thing to do is get a top 3 pick , trade players ASAP to “unintentionally tank” and use those assets for cozens and other players apparently available and call up tuomisto,Soderblom etc.. and see if they have any future here at all or let them go in the off season This season is done , finishing 12th would be the absolute worst thing that can happen
