@@paragon1782 he’s clearly better than the average fighter he’s a 4X champion in large organizations. I’ve looked up his titles they are the real large organizations. All his fights aren’t mismatches with fights with few fights. Some of those fights are cause it comes from reality show rivalry’s or just last minute fights he took. The guy is a legit world champion with some of his titles coming from ISKA. This guys breakdown makes a lot more sense in boxing than kickboxing. I’m a multiple time amateur state champion I’m boxing and I help train mma fighters and you can’t compare the styles it’s not the same. Tates style fits kickboxing. Kickboxers on average are better at kicking than punching tates boxing is actually above average for elite kickboxers. The pull back is seen much more in kickboxing cause of you can do that over blocking every kick why wouldn’t you reduce the impact.

Kickboxing records are tricky for a number of reasons, manly the various styles(Full contact, Above the waist, Muay Thai, Point fighting, Shootboxing etc), and Organizations. Wonderboy for example has an incredible kickboxing record but does his record stand up to Izzy’s, does Izzy’s record stand up to, MVP’s record, they all fight in different styles of kickboxing, all are great in there own style. Like i said in one of videos dedicated to him before getting jumped by his fans, he's a good fighter, but in my opinion, people calling him "elite" is disrespectful towards real top fighters out there. But then again, in same comment section, those people revealed that they don't even know who Pereira is, even though the dude's been trending for a while now, so yeah. And as far as MMA goes, i think he'd get mauled by any half decent fighter out there, unless he has some secret elite grappling skills, because we know that UFC currently has far superior stand up fighters. And before i get jumped again, this ain't a knock on the guy, he clearly is an above average when it comes to fighting, but gotta be realistic, based on the footage that exists of him fighting.

He literally said that BJJ would not work on him in a street fight because he would "bite his way out of a triangle" or "bite a chunk off your leg if you armbar him", which is probably enough to tell you everything about his grappling skills (or lack thereof).

@@bradanderson4192 Hahah i didn't see that, that's epic. It's a lot worse than i thought then. Wouldn't have thought that someone like him who prides himself in practicing martial arts would have said something so ignorant. I love when people think that an eye poke or a bite or a scratch will make someone with half decent bjj skills, let alone a professional, loosen the grip. Like Bas Rutten said once, first imma snap your neck, and then i'll say "ow my eye"

@@Krlja Do you think an elite female MMA fighter with a grappling background, eg. someone like Kayla Harrison, could beat in him in a fight, or would his size and strenght advantage + his kickboxing skills be insurmountable? I'm asking because it would be pretty funny to see it happen due to the bullshit he spewed about how not even the best female MMA fighter on the planet can beat an untrained men her same size.
@Krlja
@Krlja 2 жыл бұрын
@@bradanderson4192 Untrained men, absolutely, i'd say. I mean even when you look at that controversial case with Fallon Fox, that dude was a trained athlete even before he transitioned into female category (even though nowhere near great), and he still got pounded by Ashlee Evans, so i'd say a completely untrained dude would get beat up by most of top/elite female fighters, especially ones that are same weight as them. Now, that being said, he is trained in kick boxing, and has weight advantage, but i think Kayla ain't really small either, so i wouldn't write her off. Especially now that he's out of training. The reason why i brought up Fallon Fox is because that's who i'd compare Tate to. He's not an elite, but not a rookie either, and as we saw, even when you train, there's gonna be at least one chick you run into that's gonna be able to beat you up. I think the problem is that many people like him aren't aware of this new breed of women fighters. They're monsters lol. To be honest, if he said he'd bite his way out of a rear naked choke, and that no elite female mma fighter can beat any man ever, it just shows that he hasn't really been paying attention to fighting world, apart from those small scale kick boxing tournaments he was a part of

I’ve seen many clips on KZbin of Tate, he’s definitely someone you shouldn’t take seriously, definitely playing a character, and he does it good, but I’ve been skeptical of his actual fighting skill, he looks good, but if you have 47 fights there’s no way you should be fighting someone with only 5 and they’re not 5-0! Now I don’t know the background maybe it was a tournament but that’s not a good look, combats sports are known for padded records, so I wouldn’t be surprised! But that don’t mean he’s a bad fighter Andrew Tate fans lol, don’t get that mistaken! EDIT: 75-9 against someone’s who debuting professionally? 🤣🤦🏽‍♂️ my god! I’ll be back if there’s anything worse!

Sahak Parparyan, although Tate lost, was still a good fight, and Tate dominated in the earlier rounds before losing through decision. He lies about doing only push ups yet when making a video of him benching he had great motor skills with the barbell with a very good amount of weight especially for his height and structure, great technique, impossible for someone who hasn't trained proficiently with weights. He is the kind of person who has talent and will say or do anything possible to contradict everything and trying not to fall in his own mind games but he is not aware that he is getting caught up at his own game. some people, even from boxing, learn to fight switch from the beginning because anything you can do one way you CAN do the other way, you just have to break through the "this is awkward" mental barrier. ive found that switch hitting allows me to find and exploit the range of combat my opponent is least comfortable in. it also allows me to disguise a transition into a wrestling stance as a low southpaw and if ive established the threat of my lead right and obliques, they will instinctively take pressure off the lead leg and guard high, slam city

I'd put my skills now, given I got in equal shape as he's in now, up against his. He rarely uses feints, attacks from awkward angles, or utilizes combos, for damage or setups. *Definitely* put my younger self in the ring/cage with him, same age or not. Tate is a bit of a can crusher, plus my kickboxing skills were taught after boxing. Charlton Young was my teacher, a Champ in Kickboxing himself, and he, for the same reasons you mention, wouldn't even teach or let us kick til we got the hands down first. He also talks a lot of sh*t about how dominant and “alpha” he is around others, but there’s tons of footage of him interacting with other people on reality shows and whatnot and he’s like a church mouse. I am of the believe that Tate is laughing all the way to the bank. If you watch his appearance on Tom Segura’s podcast, you’ll very clearly see the character he’s playing in all its glory and they just can’t stop laughing at everything he says. If he was the true monster/idiot everyone claims he is, there’s no chance Christina P wouldn’t call him out. However, he’s also not NOT that guy, either. I think he’s believing his own hype a little bit and to what degree? I suppose we’ll have to wait and see…which is precisely what he’s counting on. You can’t knock the guy’s hustle.
