The pronunciation counter 😂😂 Uncompagre kills me. I can't even remember how to spell it, let alone say it properly. Love your videos man!

LMAO honestly, same. I just gave up on that video and started calling it "U" peak, which you can see me do with Tab even though I was LITERALLY just told how to say it haha

Do you have a video when you had that storm roll in? I came from your video talking about the difficulties of the 14ers.

Really dig these videos man! I had always been a novice hiker, having been to colorado only once and reaching just 9000 ft. I since went back a second time; I got into your content before the trip up Mt. Bierstadt, and now I'm planning a trip to do the decalibron. Wouldn't have been able to improve so quickly without these, keep it up!

Classic 14ers Colorado hiking great views didn't really look to crowded, considering how many people do these peaks. Looks like your becoming the drone expert of the Rockies.

My newfound free time has allowed me to hit a lot of these peaks during the off days which has helped a lot with crowds 😂

It's a lot of work to set up the camera and drone so thank you for doing this! One thing I'll point out in case it helps others is that it can be a challenge getting back to S after T. Try not to swing too far to the left of the ridge otherwise you will have more ascent to go back up to S summit, which is the recommended way to get back.

Funny enough, I’ve somehow been saying Tabegouche correctly, but still Shavano wrong. Who even has a clue about Uncompaghre? We just can’t win lol. Love the videos man! Keep em coming! My Colorado summer has recently been shortened cause I’m moving to Montana for a bit so I’m trying to crank out as many incomplete 14ers as I can. Everyone, including you, says the Harvard/Columbia traverse is horrible. That still an accurate statement? I’m doing Belford/Oxford/Missouri next week and was planning those after
@TheVirtualsherpa4 жыл бұрын
Its been a while since I have hiked Harvard/Columbia and trying to get back there soon to re-do my last video as I think its pretty horrible. From what I remember, Harvard is nice and then going up Columbia is nice, but the traverse to Columbia is somewhat of a mess and then going down Columbia sucks too. However, I think they have done some trail restoration up there so it might be better now.

Great video! Planning to do this is a couple of weeks - couple of questions: 1. What is the best time to start the hike in the morning ? 2. What website do you use for weather forecast on the mountain ? Cheers !
@TheVirtualsherpa4 жыл бұрын
Check out the link in the description of the vid - gives the weather source I typically use. In addition, I typically check mountain-forecast.com as well. Start time is too variable depending on the day/hiker but typically a sunrise start is recommended.

What day did you climb this? My friends and I did Harvard / Columbia on Sunday the 15th and the wind up high was BRUTAL. I can really sympathize with your frustration. Anyways, thanks for posting! Your videos are extremely helpful for guiding all of our high elevation hikes
