You have a unique way of removing the plodding, boring aspects of all these adventures...that fact, and your insistence on putting out the very best videography under the circumstances keeps me coming back for more, no matter the subject! Great job

That was so awesome in every respect. No way, I am going to attempt that, I'll stick to the standard roue but thank you for taking us on this beautiful adventure. Be safe, stay blessed.

Can't believe you ate the chemtrail hail, nice knowing you brother. The brat at the end was totally gangster! Those are a couple big hills right there.

Superb video again! Love how you make a possibly boring 14er hike much more interesting. Wondering how many 14ers you have left? I also would be interested in what hiking gear you use/love including overnight stuff, maybe a separate video?👍

I do have a gear guide video from last year, please have a look in the “videos” tab, I really focus on comfort and how that translates into improved performance. For me the 20 degree 800 fill down quilt coupled with a neo air 3” thick mattress has been awesome! Super light, warm roomy and cozy! Check out the gear guide and leave me any questions you might have. Thanks for your support John

Great stuff! Wondering what the route is like from the Collegiate East portion of the Colorado Trail...(have you ever accessed from these peaks from the Colorado Trail?) I will be on the east side of CT later this year and thinking off adding some more 14ers to resume!

No, I haven't been up that way. Like the area a bunch tho, and I plan on doing seasonal hike/climbs this year up high as usual. Your plans sound interesting...pls check back in, Karl 👍

Just call it Tab :). Haven’t done any of these 3 14ers myself but heard the Browns Creek route is much better than the Jeep road

Definitely not epic peaks doing the standard routes. . . I was looking for a peak to bike ride up, Antero, noticed Tab and Shavano right there and exploring google earth revealed that cool winding ridge up Tab and I knew I had to do it! It was like a baby Snowmass mountain’s “S ridge” that will be coming out soon! Hiking Jeep roads kinds sucks. . . I actually got the bike for the desert, I’m moving to Grand Junction in 2 weeks, San Juans will be so close as well as all of southern Utah.

Wow Grand Junction. Congrats on the move Karl. Make sense for you since you hit UT as much as CO. San Juans is the best. Can’t wait to see future climbing videos on the Wilson and Chicago Basin group

Man I'm jealous, now I really wish I had taken you up on your offer to let me tag along with you! I think my dogs would have made it, except not sure about the class 3 near top of tab. Strangers offered you a gourmet camp meal? Hell yeah! What camera do you use? Your videos look like Nat Geo quality!

I am just using my iPhone, DJI mini three drone and a GoPro nine. I do put in some extra effort setting up the cameras so that I can do a nice color grade, I think that’s what really sets it apart. I’ve been thinking more about trying to set up a trip with you. I am moving to Grand Junction this week! I was wondering if you might be interested in some desert adventures, possibly flying the plane around some of the towers that we would climb? I was thinking we could push the GoPro through a hole in the plane floor so that I could control the camera while we flew around some awesome class three and four routes that we would also climb. Or around arches. If you have any aspirations I’d be interested to hear as well.
